Shoutout to Jake Kelton for waking up at 4am to record with us Brits

4:55 - ✨️🌟⭐️Aesthetic Lag Machines⭐️🌟✨️

Appreciate being included in the video, and yes, I think you have some of the best fans! ❤

this feels like this scene from american psycho where they compare business cards.

"His fan design is scalable and doesn't lag. I can't believe he likes his design more"

I think what would really help the bigger fans is having a larger hub, the single block in the center makes the fanblades feel like they’re not really attached to it

The reason why mumbos game showed lamps is because he was using the Mattpack which turns iron trapdoors on the side of blocks into lamps

These in game fans take real electricity to run. That's why it's slower when you run more at the same time

[insert fan pun here]

looks like it would be quite easy to modify the design to add a slight curve to the fan blades which if done right makes them look better imo

mumbo Explaining why steam engines only started poping up in 1900's and not when they were invented

16:56 "This is looking pretty fan-cy."

Technically it started a week before mumbos video when a smaller channel by the name of kota's corner issued a channel of making a small 4x4 fan, jake kelton craft responded to that challeng with his video "Redesigning Working fans", which then he went to improve on his video "I built a moving windmill" which i would say was the first redstone animated fan, it was 2 videos after that that he animated mumbos fan

no hate, just wanted to give a bit more context
and kota deserves some recognition aswell

7:17 purplers reinvents rolling shutter

19:47 It was all on Purplers

This is what actual engineering looks like, kids -- not just tinkering around and chancing on a half solution, but actually defining a goal, and meticulously working towards the predefined goal. Amazing.

11:35 lol matt sounds like that guy who's too nice to sound mean

7:13 you just successfully added rolling shutter artifacts to Minecraft

8:24 side by side i think the slightly curved one actually looks way better. Fan blades are usually curved irl

Those fans look awesome, but the curve adds so much to Mumbo's version.
If you vould add back the curved fan blades to this design it would make it perfect

13:12
I can hear the "Another Medium" in background you cant hide that from my ears
My ears that are hypersensitive to Undertale music

the curve is honestly more realistic to how blades actually look, so I did like how it looked before it was fixed up to be straightened
it's understandable that it's more complicated that way though
