Kazutoshi Mizuno breaks down the details in the November 26th issue of Best Car (released October 26th)!!
First up is the LEXUS LX700h. As you know, it's a (super?) luxury SUV that could be considered the Lexus version of the Land Cruiser 300. But how did the Lexus brand refine this LX?
The second car is the Mercedes-Benz GLS 450d. This is also the top-of-the-line SUV equivalent of the S-Class sedan. While it's not simply an SUV version of the S-Class, it seems to share a common concept and ride feel with both the sedan and the SUV.
Note: This project is not intended to compare the two vehicles based on price or other factors, nor to rank them as superior or inferior.
Also, this video is a digest of just a small part of our coverage.
For a more detailed explanation, please see Best Car 2025 November 26th issue [released October 26th].
