I absolutely love love love the fact that he didn’t say if you haven’t had time to be selfish then it won’t work (and rather he said you can HELP each other get there). Just another example of that mentality of making things work. So underrated in this day and age!!!

FPJ and SMG are role models for not just Hollywood relationships but relationships in general. It's crazy how 20 yrs now feels like such a rare thing

Totally agree with him, either you’re in or you’re not. Been married to my husband almost 25 years next month.

This guy has no ego at all, it's amazing. I love the way he talks about his relationship, in it or not, there are pretty people everywhere. His podcast on films is top tier!!

See the way he talks and articulate his mind, he's focused and smart? This is why he is in a 20+year of marriage. 👏👏👏20 year ago he was young but not dumb and he was serious and had a vision of long term when he propose to SMG

That has to be the best explanation of what a healthy marriage is that I have ever heard. Acknowledging that it takes selfishness to accomplish your goals, but marriage is about partnership and sacrifice. Are you willing to accept your partners selfishness for a time while they are chasing their career goals or are you willing to sacrifice some of your career potential to give your partner the time, attention and care they need to be happy in the relationship. It's all about give and take and you have to be willing to do both to make it work. At the end of the day its just about both people being willing to continue to do the work to make the marriage last. Excellent work Mr. Prinze Jr.

I like his point on people saying, "yeah, I know I know." That drives me crazy. A lot of times it's ok to say, "oh I didn't know that." and learn something.
