I watched the 3d. Soooo cool!

❤❤❤

Glad to see @THEKITOFAMILY proud of our culture & heritage. I know this was recorded before the global launched of the film. Now we all know that Filipinos aren't yet received well by the majority of people in various countries. You can notice the result at the box office even though it it's produced by an American entity in DreamWorks & funded by the Universal Pictures. There are lots of controversy now on various socials media why it has bombed. Some people say that the trailers & marketing suck. While some are saying, they didn't know anything about it until now. imoossible. But still they don't watch it because it's based on Filipinos. Only diasporas only care about it. They said the film promotes DEI & assume it is woke displaying bad example to the society.

For us, who already watched it. I don't see anything if what they are saying. Some movie reviewer even said that there was only 4 people in the theatre besides him when he watched the film & he liked it. Even if it's not perfect.

Yes, so proud of this movie and reminisce old memories in my younger days when the myth or maybe real stories of the Aswangs and Mananangal were talked about to scare the children. Not familiar with bench but seen the fashion show.

Bench is the "brand" during my college days. Still pick some from the store whenever I got to get home sa  Pinas.

Just came back from the Philippines and in your previous vlog you introduced bench and now I got some stuff from there..and the quality is so good as well.. thank you ❤

BTW the main OST is perform by BINi our PPOP Girl group, hopefully you will check it, the title is "A Parallel World" and some of the artist are SB19, Sofia Laforteza of Katseye, thank you for your support to this beautiful movie🫶🏻

Three times I have seen it, and I will return,
For this cinematic magic continues to burn.
Imagine a Filipino Wizard of Oz where the yellow brick shines,
With The Story of Ibong Adarna stitched into its lines.

The Scarecrow, the Lion, and the Tin Man step down,
As Philippine legends inherit the crown.
There is Mehrmann the Sirena, and Bungi the Demon Baby fright,
And Raww, completes The Wild Pack, riding a giant Sarimanok in flight.
A Sigbin protector, a marvelous crew,
While Raissa and Jo play the Dorothy role built for two.

Jo's Norke reminded me of Oz's magical red shoes,
It even got Batibat to make baby steps to a world she barely knew.

By the climax of act three, my defenses fell flat.
I wept in my seat, and I marvel at that.
Ratatouille is the only other animated film coming quite close,
But this carries gravitas a masterpiece knows.
An emotional impact that sets it apart,
As a rare and spectacular triumph of art.

Go hand them the Oscar! Best Feature this year.
The vision is masterful, striking and clear.
It matches the absolute beauty of *Coco*,
With elements ripe for a Broadway stage show.

A massive commercial success is in sight,
To conquer all Hollywood, claiming the light.
We will soon get a sequel, even a trilogy, theme park designs,
And Universal Studios Pinoy-themed park rides with incredibly long lines.
Then every year, when October arrives and the autumn leaves fall,
It will take over Halloween once and for all.

So skip out on Netflix, unplug the small screen.
This glorious epic deserves to be seen.

Our cultural icons have taken their flight,
So watch on the biggest screen shining and bright.
Tayo Na! Let us go and fill up every row,
To champion the greatest new story we know!
