An important thing to remember is, even though all this evidence of Cavemen is found in caves they very likely lived outside of caves a lot, too. The only reason we have no major evidence for that is because the outside isnt very good at preserving that evidence, caves are though.

4:27 Wait, so you're telling me that ancient humans used the same symbol for hearts that we do????

Man we truly stand on the shoulders of giants. Both literally and figuratively

the Skyrim location discover with the font was pretty sneaky.

I believe this is the best video you have made so far. Some creators on youtube are saying it's nearly impossible to kill large game with a thrusting spear, let alone a wood-tipped spear. With practical testing. But the evidence you show suggests otherwise. Please keep doing what you're doing sir.

It makes sense that we hunted the largest herbivores and our direct competitors. Our kit is low-key specialized for it; spears, thrown rocks, fire use and unbeatable endurance. Anything large enough to get run down and harassed would have been the choice target.

Never underestimate the humans of ANY time period. They were smarter, more creative and more deadly than what you'd expect.

The Clovis people ALSO disappeared around the same time. Doesn't sound like they were thriving enough to wipe out all megafauna. At the same time.

Something id never considered before but it makes perfect sense humans would hunt hibernating animals. Just lvl your sneak skill and its basically just free food.

Hunting bull elephants with a spear goes a long way explaining neanderthal extinction. Jeezus

I truly enjoy the way you 'humanise' our ancient relatives and their lifestyles. Keep up the great work, and I'm looking forward to the film you're working on.

From australopithecus children getting snatched by eagles to hunting whales. What a story.

Bison runs were not the reason the bison population was decimated it was settlers that did so personally to starve and demoralize the native americans as the bison hold spiritual significance.

Neanderthals were tough beyond what we can imagine these days. Massive bones and muscles taking on huge prey. What beasts Neanderthals were!
