Good stories. It was great to be Wings fan then. #LGRW

imagine having Konstantinov and Lidstrom as your top 2 on the PK, nobody was a master of the hip check like Konstantinov. he had a way of suckering wingers into believing they had room to take it wide along the boards, then sliding laterally to put people into the bench or a full blown summersault. pre-salary cap hockey was a beautiful thing in Detroit.

Detroit almost drafted Bure in '89 as well.

LET'S GO RED WINGS!!

family takes care of family 👌

This guy was so unfairly maligned when he was the Wings GM. He earned his flowers.

If you do something you love, you will never work a day in your life. That being said, you'd better work your butt off if you want to be the best of the best. Trust me, if you love it, it doesn't feel like work.

Wasn't a vacuum salesman, but the condition he left the Wings in certainly sucked.

Ha…Holland doesn’t negotiate. Helm, Abdelkader, and every other one year wonder made more money / term with the Wings than they could anywhere else.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved Helm…but Holland is one of the worst GM’s at cap management and, once Nill/Scotty/Yzerman were gone, at drafting.

I want Kenny back instead of Yzerclown.

This clown destroyed Detroit. HOF Fraud.

GLAD HOLLAND IS NOT RED WINGS GM
