Unforgettable Jack Hargreaves. I grew up watching him on TV. Out of Town and How, two of my favourite programs.

My dearest dad died last year and as I was looking after him he looked at me from his bed and said " I`m dying" it broke my heart but the only reply I could give him was that " we are all dying dad " , he passed the next week, miss you dad

I remember Jack Hargreaves fondly from his tv shows, and once saw him when he came to our school to give a talk. It was through Jack that I first became aware of conservation and the environment, he truly was a man well ahead of his time.

Smashing story about one of my heroes, Jack Hargreaves. Watching 'Out of Town' etc. gave me a love of the countryside and encouraged my love of fishing that lasts to this very day.

As a young boy I listened to Jack ....im not far off  Jack's  age now 2026....and I still listen to JACK ...RIP

Jack Hargreaves was a wealth of history knowledge, a man softly spoken, humble, and a gentleman at that.  I, even though I am in Australia, enjoyed all his shows and learned a few things along the way.  A great British treasure who is deeply missed, it doesn't seem like 32 years have elapsed since this great man left us.
