If you can stay home for now with the kids, do it! Build your relationship with them and your husband… and your local community. When you go back to work you won’t have time for the morning teas with other mums! ❤ build a social life now and set yourself up for success

When I moved to Australia, I found it very easy to find a job - arrived on Sunday, had interviews on Wednesday, got offered 3 jobs that day, started the next Monday. I did have good, in demand skills.

Having recently been back in the UK and I was horrified how much eating out was in the UK in comparison to Perth. Once Holly starts in full-time school you could look at getting into the school canteen system given your hospitality background. Means you would only have to work school terms and would get all the school holidays off with your kiddies

People must also realise that Australia is a very big country the same size as America. We are so far away from the rest of the world and situated at the bottom of the world (arse end). This is why we are calked Down Under. Time zones are opposite and being in the Southern Hemiphere.

Australia is also a continent on its own as well as having different time zone within.

Try a job as a teacher aid. I did that as a single dad. It worked perfectly for me. Took my girl to school and spent holidays together. Took a year to get full time. Only thirty hours per week but do-able.
