No wonder, ALIEN BREED got the inspirations from the ALIEN movies.

Also, when i was a kid, i was introduced by ALIENS on the Commodore 64,
before i found out, that it was based on
a 20th Century Fox movie 😹👍.

Me and my friends played mostly
ALIEN BREED II: THE HORROR CONTINUES on my friend's Amiga 1200 back in the 1990's.

Also, i still have MANIAC MANSION
as one of the Kixx XL games for my
Amiga 500 😹😺👍🕹️.

I was too young to ever own an Amiga, but I remember playing a Net Yaroze game on Playstation that was heavily inspired by Alien Breed, called Psychon, and I loved it

Regarding Maniac Mansion hidden as bonus game within the sequel - The Day of the Tentacle. I believe it was already available on the very original - from floppy disks installed - PC version. The difference is that it catched you with surprise. Once you started it by accessing the computer you weren't able to get back to Day of the Tentacle (if not saved the game before).

I absolutely loved this game, esp as you say in 2 player mode, the level with the crusher where you had to activate it, then exit before you are squeezed against the wall stick in my memory, but just triggering the self destruct then running frantically back to where you think the exit is, great fun...

Bought this one for my A600, what a great game. Would still play well today and is a reminder of how good some of those Amiga games were and what a huge step up from the C64 platform it was.
