As a good looking 6’1 punjabi guy who quickly adapted to the accent and culture I have dated whites, middle easterners, russians and hispanics. On top of it I had my own car and was living by myself at the age of 21, so it made it easier for me to throw house parties.
Even my 6’2 brown friend who had broad shoulders and lift like crazy in the gym was able to date multiple white women in our college days. So yes physical looks and social skills matter the most and financial success plays its part if you wanna date 25 or above.
as a Scottish person dating an Indian man the other thing is the cultural differences between food and family. His parents are invited to come and stay for as long as they want (usually months) and I have lived alone since I was very young and I’m independent and it’s a big off put for me
If you come from a rich and wealthy country, people consider you attractive, but if you come from a poor and underdeveloped country, people consider you unattractive.
"not able to proceed with certain options" There is an unspoken social rule called "the one aesthetic." For women that means one hair colour and a preferred eye colour...you know what I'm trying to say. And the difficulty in dating that men like Heeral are talking about is, "South Asian men are having a hard time getting a date with 'the one aesthetic.'" That's the issue. Not saying other cultures do not prize the one aesthetic...but south asians are known for appreciating one type of beauty. Like so many other ethnic groups in the west, south asians have been stereotyped beyond belief. They may be having issues due to the stereotypes.
As a resident from India this was helpful. The problem is we don't assimilate to the culture wherever we go. We are TOO distant. If we adopt everything will fall in place I guess, but somehow its a tough pill to swallow for majority of Indian guys in the West
Dating foreigner is overhyped recently due to some vdos and vlogs
Many Tamils have married white people especially christians who moved abroad since several generations
Even the older generations
They never did any plans happens....
Dating foreigners is not a rocket science and white people who are attracted to Indian culture easily become frnds... Just go on the flow dont pre plan anything if it is destined it happens
Boi this must be an American thing and even then I'm going to take it with a pinch of salt , here in the UK we definitely do better, I've seen skinny emo Indian guys getting it , I've seen chubby guys , all sorts, mainly it's confidence and being able to actually understand culture and societies that you are part of. Also being able to actually mingle in real life is key, online world is not real. One thing I do notice for the ones that struggle are ones that don't tend mix themselves, in the UK some places end up closed off and you can go a lot of time without mixing with anything other then your background.
I have watched videos where Indian guys who are physically toned with six pack abs muscles biceps etc who are ripped or shredded fit dudes who look sexy lean n hot don't have trouble attracting Western women. There's a channel by an indian guy called Manesh or something he clearly states how getting a fit body ir six pack abs etc changed how western women see him.. women are always into looks. When guys have six pack abs muscles chiseled jaws angular features etc it attracts women. It's nothing to do with nationality. Looks are currency in dating. Women like hot fit guys with muscles six pack abs etc..such guys are rare and hard to get and they get women's attention. Period
11:33 India is an "elbows" culture, whereas the USA is more of a "fingertips" culture. This refers to the amount of physical space someone needs to feel comfortable. Westerners need much more personal space, we hate to get crowded, and women especially hate being trapped in corners with a man invading her personal space.
This was interesting and kinda sad, actually. I'm not Indian but as with other dark skinned people, you are basically saying "don't be Indian, become more European to be accepted. Most Indians I have been around are insular, staying with their group, or prefer white people over any other person, so your advice shouldn't be a problem.
Why Indian Men Struggle to Date in the US (or any South Asian man in the West)
