Who at CA thought it was a good idea to not give players an option of what mode they want to play

highlight of the stream: Turin saying "the leadbelchers shouldn't be suffering any obstructions" as the screen blocker obsrtucted our view...😅

Whenever you see changes like removing game modes or making it so that queues queue up for multiple game modes, it usually means that they don't think they have the active player base to populate both queues

I think I'll disagree on your assessment for the new Slaanesh RoR. They buff Heroes and Lords, not blobs, and they seem to be made for increasing the sniping potential of those characters. I'm not sure Slaanesh needs more of that, but I could see them being used.

How can a game like total war warhammer still have worst ranked experience ever? This game imo could be perfect for ranked, tournaments and esports! Immagine what it can be with a good ladder system!!

Imagine Irondrakes with the new shooting rules.

if the ranged factions are gonna layer up units like that, does it mean the khorne artillery is viable again? really like the skull cannon vibe and was a shame they weren't really viable. but with wider targets and the chance to damage multiple units i think they could be worth the points now?

Keen to see some cathay gameplay on your channel after the ranged unit changes. Other channels made them out to be disasterously bad, but i want to see how they've panned out in the MP scene(i don't play MP myself).

Maybe to help ranged factions a unit under ranged fire would have a minor decrease to their capture weight?

I think Tzeentch has actually benefitted the most from this patch. The fact blues and pinks can shoot through spawn without harming them is downright brutal. Flamers, too. They can block furies too with several airborne options so pinks are pretty safe.

I am curious to how Little grom would work with the new rule, are artillery exempt from it? You could get some crazy shots in melee range with some micro, considering how durable little grom is.
EDIT: same goes for the Skull Cannon I suppose.

I guess CA watched Turin rant video and put a hotfix on their patch lol

What if the added a cap to one overlapping unit and the requirement of it not being in combat in a crouch stance allowing the overhead fire which is void as soon as in combat something like this might work

This was the worst outcome. They are not going to let anyone pick their favorite mode and Land Battle fans are not going to see any fixes or adjustments for problems like drawkiting. Nobody is happy with this, so please don't get into flamewars against each other. Work together instead to get CA to separate the two modes.

I think in dominations units should be resummonable but at a cost. Same price but healing capped, half ammunitions and winded or tired vigor

havent watched the entire video. But what do you think of new formation attack? Any improvement at all?

23:40 Turin, check the casualties vs the kills the Khornates had, it seems that CA forgot about the friendly fire. I was wondering why Dragon Guard took so much damage from DW Warriors.

the stacking troops is insanely strong for campaign but not sure for pvp, people are just going to bomb your stacked units

"Do you guys see this" @1:06:00 Has screen blocker up

Yes... yes we do! :D

CA should get someone from a studio that does ranked well, like Relic, to design a functional ladder. It's 2022.
