Widely praised by Stephen King as "the best horror series ever put on television," this celebrated classic horror anthology featured top-tier talent, including writers like Robert Bloch (Psycho) and legendary composers like Jerry Goldsmith. In this unforgettable debut episode, you'll witness a rare, intense dramatic performance from Leslie Nielsen—decades before his comedy career made him a household name. He plays Alan Patterson, a successful executive whose perfect life begins to shatter when two deeply disturbed individuals (including a brilliant George Grizzard) fixate their dangerous obsessions on him.
When these two obsessions collide, a murder is committed, Alan is framed, and the quiet life he took for granted begins to fall apart.
Directed by Arthur Hiller, who would later direct Love Story (1970). Written by James P. Cavanagh, based on the novel by William O'Farrell.
Leslie Nielsen in 1960 was a 34-year-old dramatic actor, a decade before the comedy career that made him a household name through Airplane! (1980) and the Naked Gun films. This episode is a rare chance to watch one of cinema's great comedians playing psychological suspense with complete seriousness.

I loved him in everything he did, Westerns, drama and then his classic comedy movies later on in his career.
The best. Used to watch them when I was little. They’re all new now and still great! Thrillers never go outta style ❤❤❤❤
A really interesting, fascinating little story. Gripping. Highly recommend.
The sister waiting in the room is the same actress who played in the Twilight Zone episode, Uncle Simon.
I must have seen this episode over 100 times in the last 15 years. I have 26 episodes on DVD 😁
Nielsen was brilliant in this one. Tracking down the nut job who was abused by his sister, imitating Nielsen, trying to takeover his family.
Poor "Lily Hansen." Doomed from the start. So young. So trusting. So twisted. So naive.
Oh the twists and turns in this one. 😮
