Classification doesn’t work, war on drugs is failing. Time for a different strategy

When a grown woman is talking about getting out of nappies you know doing drugs is no longer cool

They’re all so brave for agreeing to be on the documentary. Normalising seeking help without judgement is how we can help people come off thedrugs that are harming them.

As a med student, i did a placement in urology, and there were so many young people with bladder issues related to ketamine use.

Reason why people are taking it is because it’s cheap sniff and we’re all unhinged damaged people

It's not just harm reduction. We need to know how to tolerate painful emotions and be able to be ok.  People take drugs because they can't tolerate their emotions and/or life.

The N.H.S need to employ these people who have came off it to tour the schools and give honest talks.

Its culture not classification. Dont waste your energy and time. People will put whatever in their body regardless. Got to ask the question why so many young people take drugs not where we put the drug on a chart.

We have to look at why these children and adults are desperate to escape and helping them develop tools to manage difficult emotions

You can’t classify your way out of a drug crisis. The state of society is so bleak that everyone is looking for an escape.

Getting bladdered has a whole new meaning

When used for depression in a hospital setting, it can be absolutely life saving and life changing. So sad that something potentially so helpful can also be so destructive when used inappropriately.

A couple of beers and a joint obviously not enough anymore.

It's insane to be a teen or in your 20s and you cant control your bladder like an old person, so very sad

Its insane that kids are taking it at school. Its not even something that youd want to be in school on? To be so young and bladder ruined is horrendous.

Ketamine is frightening 😮😮😮 I've done it a couple of times,it was because of ketamine I end up  back on the heroin,after been clean 8yrsI wanted to come down and I thought sure a bag will bring me down but half a bag done and when I woke up there was the rest of the heroin looking at me smoked it and went and got more .for 10 years I was flat to the mat on the heroin but clean 2 yrs now and I thank god I only take what I'm subscribed 🙏god bless all who are suffering ❤

I’m from Poland and it is absolutely insane for me how casual drugs are in the uk, how it is socially acceptable, literally line of sniff is as normal as a glass of wine here… dealers have the audacity to send out menus (wtf?! How is the police not just getting on them chats and sorting it out).  I’ve even been called weird for not wanting to take coke with people here whilst having a casual gathering at home… and it’s not even homeless people or something, all these druggies have jobs, look normal, some are doctors themselves… absolutely mental, you get tested to work in a factory here but not as a doctor… I’ve seen so many people (school, uni friends etc.) ruin their lives with drugs here, very sad…

Bring back youth clubs for our children 😡😢😢
