Did I Get the Louis Vuitton P9 or Just a Parisian Prank?

Luxury and Life in the Middle

Welcome to my YouTube channel, Luxury and Life in the Middle.

So I turned down the offer of the indigo P9 from one of my US client advisors about a week before my trip to Paris. Was I able to get it or is the joke on me?

As someone who has gone to Paris yearly for 25 yrs….i had a feeling that the Parisian LV CA was in no way sure she could deliver nor did she probably try or care all that much. When I saw what they actually offered you in the VIP appt I could see they didn’t try all that hard. They honestly don’t like dealing with Americans. They will be “gracious “ but will not give you something that a local may want. Just keeping it real. I’d always stick with my normal CA. 🤷🏼‍♀️ sounds like it actually worked out in your favor, so that’s good.

Oh shoot! I was so hoping to see that you got what you were looking for in Paris! But hey, you took a chance at perhaps scoring one IN Paris and saving some $. These P9's are elusive little things.

I had a bit of a roller coaster ride with mine. In the end, it finally ended up safe and in its new home here! 🏡

The game is not over yet of course! 🤞 The Indigo with the dark trim is sharp. It does read a bit masculine, but I think the 25 size for ladies would be just fine.

There is always so much to be considered. The ride is never over. 😅

Lisa, you have impeccable style. I actually thought the P9 showed at the bridge shot WAS the new P9 you were referring to ... LOL Silly me! If it's meant to be, it'll be. When it's time! No worries, beautiful ... Keep up the lovely vlogs!

Just got the indigo 25 and for me, it's my favorite and in person it's just gorgeous. I totally understand having to see it in person. I want more friends like you that get it with bags. Everyone I know just doesn't get it.

I was really hoping you would be able to at least see it in Paris - definitely disappointing. When I went a few years ago (just post covid), my CA at Vendome was super sweet, but all 5 bags I had on my wishlist were unavailable- first world problem because I had a phenomenal time in Paris with my husband, but somewhat disappointing. As to the handle color on the recent P9 - my CA asked me whether I wanted the Pink Sakura from this launch because I love pink, and I was initially put off my the dark handles. So, I passed. Fast forward a few weeks and they happened to have one in store that another client was getting and once I saw it in real life, I fell in love. It didn’t seem to be as much of a contrast as I thought it would and with all the rain we get a lot of the year where I live, I realized it might be more practical for me. Luckily, my CA was able to get one for me - just waiting for it to come - so, it is definitely true for me as well that seeing something in real life can make a difference. I am really enjoying all the Paris videos ❤

So I have watched your videos in anticipation to see the different color leather on the P9 this season. I own the summer peach and love it, it’s truly my favorite bag. In July I was offered to pre order the pink color for this season and cognac is one of my colors I love, in a whole scenario I won’t get into I ended up passing on it and one reason is because I never was able to find a real life picture of how it looked and stock photos are very deceiving. I really didn’t want to tie up that kind of funds with all of the other things I had going on this summer until the end of August which was when I was told the bag would potentially arrive. I took screenshots of Amelia’s video because honestly I would like to get a real life idea of what this bag looks like before committing to it. Supposedly I am on the list again and my CA said she would text me a photo when one comes in and I still have hope!

I got the indigo P9 😀I think of all the FW25 P9's, this color looks the best with darker vachetta. I LOVE it! I think it's the best of the all the colors they have released so far...but I'm not a fan of the super bright, loud colors that came out last year, and I'm not a fan of pink either...too baby shower-ish and stereotypical female as far as I'm concerned. To me the indigo one is the most wearable because it's a more neutral color and can go with anything.
My theory is if you are offered something that is really hard to get, you should just take it. You can always decide later to return if you don't like it. Though I understand given your circumstances with the Paris trip this would not have worked. I hope you manage to get one, because it is really stunning!

Love your hair. That colour combo looks lovely on you 🥰

With the P9 — is it originally marketed for men? Maybe that’s why they’ve made the leather more”masculine” to be more attractive to men?

I know P9 is kinda unisex but I think some LV bags do look masculine and therefore I wouldn’t purchase either for that fact.

I do like the navy and the denim blue P9 💙 BUT not keen if it looks too masculine.
