Something I really appreciate with your videos (apart from the great views and the cute dog) is that the renovation feels very realistic and thoughtful. You allow it to take time, make some temporary fixes and allow yourself to change your mind rather than having everything be perfect straight away. Renovations can be draining financially and mentally, but it feels like you are doing it in a sustainable way. You are very inspiring. Thank you for sharing and also for bearing with everybody's opinions about what you "should" do ❤

A hallway/library could be cool too! Like coming home to a bookshop 😊

As a 64 year old and just widowed recently I am finding you have so inspired me to do things on my own ! I have learned to do so many things in the past few months ! I thank you Caroline for your optimism all the time 😊Watching you from far away Nov a Scotia Canada 🇨🇦‼️Keep on being your wonderful self ❤️You are soo wise beyond your young age ‼️

You should be so proud of yourself for all that you’ve achieved in six months. Not only have you managed a house sale of your old home but you’ve embraced a new home and all that comes with it. Plus this house you bought, yourself 🎉, incredible achievement! Then it came with a whole pile of previous owners stuff to go through…that’s a huge headache..so you had that to deal with too. Also you had a wonderful summer socialising with friends and travelling. You, my girl, are living the best life! Embrace your freedom and enjoy it. ❤

I can't believe how much you've got through in 6 months. I think people sharing their ideas is part of making renovation videos, especially when uncertainties and decisions to be made are shared. It means people are engaged and invested in what you're doing - and will come back to see more. The kitchen plans look wonderful!

The house is looking fabulous, I think you have done LOADS.  Also I lived in a house for 10 years that had a stable door in the kitchen and I really really miss it.  It’s not drafty and cold, it’s fabulous x

ooh the small table in the living room would be so perfect for games and puzzles!

As a type A person, it's kind of inspiring to watch you renovate this house in a less structured way and taking your time with it. I also love that you are doing your thing, and I think it makes total sense that you chose the "smallest bedroom", although it's not really that much smaller if you consider the storage and bathroom space. I'm excited to watch along the renovation journey! ☺

Imagine adding a porch and then carpeting it 😂 honestly house looks amazing so far, cant wait to see where it ends up over the years in your hands!

Love dutch doors! In northern Germany, they are called "Klöntür" with "tür" meaning "door" and "Klön" being dialect for hanging out and having a chat. I always thought that was a super cute name for it.

I love your house tour! We moved into our home about a year before you, but working and moving with a then 4 month old has meant our decorating has been so minimal. I can't wait to make some progress like you have. x

Oh my gosh, knocking through blue spear bedroom bathroom would be sooo cute. What a great idea! Would make the two bathrooms feel their own rather than identical like they used to be. Would be so lovely, create a new vibe ❤

Excellent reason for choosing your bedroom! Also, the position of the bed is great Feng Shui. You're right to listen to your heart and not other people when it comes to how you live in your home. As someone who has never had the money to just immediately make big changes when I move to a new house, I've come to realize it takes time to feel your way in to how you want to live in your house. Slow and intentional is good.

you READ MY MIND! in the previous vid of you cleaning the chicken room, i literally thought "oh i need another house tour". i was going to go back and watch your other one but this is just magnificent!

Really enjoying all these house Reno videos! I cannot wait to see it all start to come together once all the projects you’ve spoken about get started. I can imagine the kitchen and it’s going to look unreal and so cozy!! Thanks for sharing in real (ish) time, renovations take time so it’s really fun to follow along with you as you do everything ❤

I was so sad when you had to say goodbye to the other house but I'm absolutely LOVING your new home! The renovation process is so exciting to follow along with you.

You have already given this home soooo much soul! I just love watching what you do with your space and am always gaining inspiration for my own home ✨

Huge progress. Decisions made. Floors in. Baths nearly done. Custom personalized mural enchanting the room. Freedom of rocking natural hair texture. So good.

Beautiful house. Looking forward to seeing its transformation. 💖💖

You should be SO proud Caroline. Your home is looking beautiful. Keep following that vision. ❤
