I love how unapologetically off-putting Rogers Personas character design is in this episode, very John Waters-esque, I just think its cool.

I don't know, I liked this one a good bit, Jeff's such a wholesome guy that it's a good palate cleanser after some Klaus-heavy episodes, they had some fun with Italian things and Jeff just coldly doing a psuedo-Princess Bride gambit with the poisoned wines was surprisingly smart of him while still keeping his optimism because he legit thought he wasn't going after Tuttle but had to be sure. I think it's a good character journey for Jeff and while the b-story didn't do much for me I laughed that flash-forward Roger was still so hyper focused on something he did for like a week twenty years ago.

This episode felt so Talkative.
Jeff is so passive as a Character that I could see myself loving this episode if it were any of the other more Active (and funnier) characters.

Omg finally, I was waiting for this 😅

Really loves your videos. New look of you channel is awesome tho and your narration and the energy behind it is just on point ♥️

Was that a We’re Back reference? In this economy? God damnit that songs stuck in my head now.

I forgot to comment but yeah, nice to see that they remembered Tuttle being in the witness protection program against the Bingonis. This whole episode felt almost like a sequel to “The Book of Fischer.”

I love this episode

I liked it just for how well Jeff looked in that suit ❤ he was almost handsome ! I love it when they give the family some different designs!

I absolutely love how the bang shed not being successful was destroying roger inside. True peak deviant behavior 😂

Okay first.
I absolutely love the bang sheet. The A and B Story are a bing-bang. Jeff lifting up the magazine to look at worms. Roger just being desperate for someone to have sex in the shed. The twist that bing was watching him. Steve trying to negotiate the prize down, when it is free. His wig.
To the A story.
I love that they give Jeff an A story alone, not with Hayley or Stan. But I think they should have done more with it. Him being that innocent at the beginning makes me think he needs to be that much more ruthless at the end. Him just leaving the guy to die didn't feel satisfying. It just left me wanting a more definitive resolution of his journey. He could also have rejected violence, meaning majurity and called Stan to arrest the hit man. Taking care of it but in a way that fits his morals instead of poisoning the tea.
Or like a million other things. Just something more definitive, if it had that I think the episode overall would be better.
The way it is I still really enjoyed it

Are you going to do Rick and Morty Season 9 reviews?

@kirbynat493 4 months ago

Heh, this ep was cute, one of my faves this season! I really liked all of jeffs little one liners and the little bond between him and the old guy was fun. Loved seeing the older designs too, it was Neat 😆

This episode is the closest this season to going through the motions, its good but maybe just good, its somehow creative but a little too familiar at the same time, everyone is still good tho.

This espiode did give me a craving, While they're doing sequel epiodes and espiodes with Jeff, I want a sequel to Wild Women now.

4:28 with a little bit of thinking when I had to pause this episode when I saw it a few months ago or maybe a month and a half ago or something I figured out with a little bit of help from a computer. Sorry to say that if Roger had been or had had his persona be this mafia assassin, the episode might have been hugely better….dan aka…ps prove me wrong bro…

I very much enjoyed this episode

It took this episode for me to learn so many people absolutely hate Jeff on Reddit lol, I genuinely see him as part of the family and a good side character

It was a creative episode

This episode's framing device bothered me because I'm one of those weird people who genuinely care about the show's continuity, even and especially when it doesn't. The future framing device doesn't work because it goes against the previously established futures and I hate that. I know I shouldn't care, the show doesn't, but I just do, it matters to me.
