If I were to take you out of this year and send you into the future—say, to the year 2100—how would you convince the people of that time that you came from the past? Because in that scenario, absolutely nothing you bring with you is going to carry any real weight as proof. Just think about it: today, we have countless photos, gadgets, and documents from the past. Since we know our history, we can easily replicate vintage technology and details. People in the future won't be blown away by anything we claim to have brought along. Even if you whipped out a birth certificate proving you were born a century ago, faking something like that isn't exactly hard. Mocking up a new photo to look perfectly weathered and vintage is a piece of cake. And when you factor in what artificial intelligence can do, the whole thing becomes a massive headache. So, that begs the question... Is there an indisputable way to prove to people in the future that you came from the past? While you chew on that, let me tell you the story of time traveler Sergei Ponomarenko. At the end of the video, we'll circle back to this. If you're ready, let's get started.
