60’s & 70’s were such a great era of singer/songwriters. Neil was a prime example.

Listened to and loved Neil Diamond my whole life. We both share a birthday!

Neil wrote “Coming To America” in honor of his grandmother who immigrated to America when she was twelve years old.

Neil’s live performances were so electric. There’s a great concert on DVD from 2008 at Madison Square Garden. Last time I saw him was 2012.

Whether or not you react to whole albums, I can recommend Neil's "Hot August Night," which is a recording of a live concert he did at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles in 1972. Powerful, and so much fun.

We went with a group of college friends to see Neil in concert - probably early 80s. Great friends, great music, great memory!

Yep. He’s an icon. Surely you’ve heard Sweet Caroline? All his songs were bangers. Shilo and Cracklin’ Rosie are a few of his multiple hits. He grew up in Brooklyn and went to school with Barbra Streisand.

Neil Diamond's music is great! What crowd can't sing along to Sweet Caroline? Happens at college football games to this day! All four of Neil's grandparents were immigrants. Love your message and positivity. Thanks, Sohum!

I see you review actual concerts. May I suggest the original Hot August Night concert from the Greek theatre in Los Angeles. I am sure you will enjoy it and i would appreciate your review, thank you.

Just for yourself you should listen to Neil Diamond's soundtrack of Jonathan Livingstone Seagull. EPIC.

Love, love, love Neil Diamond. He was was on the radio my whole childhood. He is amazing and has so many great songs. You should hear his duet with Barbra Streisand “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers Anymore.”

That last one makes me cry. We are in so much trouble here in America. I know some voted for this. I did not. There are many working to try and fix this. Pray we are successful.
