I am turning 50 this month.. I belong to the corporate world and mingle with C-level leadership and large companies. But when I get home, take off the corporates attire, turn ont he radio to Avail, Bad Religion, Lagwagon, Bouncing Souls and the such... Thanks you for the history we grew up in.

Generator was the first punk album that I fell in love with. They were what brought me into the scene back when I was 16 in ‘93.

No Control is freaking classic! Love that album

Excellent series. Bad Religion transcend punk with a message of pure positivity.

Suffer blew my mind when I heard it with lyrics 3 part harmonys and punk melodic fast stuff with short solos and the most outstanding complex lyrics WOW BOOOOMs aw them on their first European tour in London, England

did you say "suffer wasn't the only thing they had to offer" on purpose? Referencing no control? if so that is so good

Great stuff please don't make us wait as long for part 3 as you did for part 2

‘Back to the known’ was not a 7”. It was a single-sided 12”. Otherwise, great video!

I forgot about Brett and his crack binges

Greatest punk band in my opinion. Completely agree with their significance. Suffer and no control were perfect. But then came against the grain which was even better and blew my mind. Still my favourite band despite albums from then on containing some filler songs

So glad I discovered your channel. Great content. I used to play bass in a band called Mercury Legion. We were the backing band on Jason Sears' (RKL) solo album in 2001. Currently I play guitar in a Bad Religion tribute band in San Diego. Fun and challenging music to play for sure.

These three albums and the first one are my favorite of Bad Religion. Love these breakdowns!

My favorite bad religion album is The Process of Belief. Its so clean, and the messages are so great. Even my 18-year-old son, who listens to metal, list it as one of his favorite albums.

Can you do a video about Farside? I know they are more post-hardcore or whatever, but a video about them would be cool

Beyond even their music, I was also attracted to their image. Not tough guys, not party guys, not goofy weirdos, not edgy-for-the-sake-of-edginess. Smart and sincere.

Good job, man! Dig! I have been to 5 of their shows in the 90s and mid 2000s. Never disappointed.

I've loved BR since hearing "Biggest Killer in American History" on a promo CD given away with Kerrang! magazine in 1998. I went straight out and bought No Substance, which then led to me buying every one if their albums.
