That’s right, believe it or not, there are still some folks out there that haven’t plated The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. My girlfriend Ellie is one of them and in this video, I’m going to document the start of her journey with her game. Where will she go, what will she do? Let’s jump in and find out.

I know you don't usually do repeats, but Ellie wanting to keep playing means I want to keep watching!

1:27 Noone forgets their first time leaving the cave. I literally had the exact same reaction Ellie did. XD

Ellie’s reaction to the beauty is spot on. I think it’s even more meaningful because of playing previous LOZ games. Like, it’s beautiful on its own. But seeing a title with “Legend of Zelda” on it means so much more when you have played so many of the games that came before it.
It ESPECIALLY brings back nostalgia for Ocarina of Time, with the shot of the volcano in the distance, the ruined temple, and the massive distance of the horizon. It’s basically bringing to life what we all imagined the expansive world of Ocarina of Time was.

The little subtitles when you do the interviews were so great. Thanks to Ellie for letting us re-experience the game through fresh eyes.

6:06 "Oh, it kills me completely. That's kind of dramatic."
I love you Ellie! You're not even mad at the game. That's the way to play. 😊

My persistent thought through this whole video: "Someone teach this poor girl about stam and health meals and the magic of the pause button!!!" I can't imagine trying to make it through the early game without such luxuries.
