I can see the Metropole being split into apartments. Just looking at the building from the sea side what a fantastic view you'd have if you lived there.

I haven't been to Blackpool for about 10 years. What has happened to the place? Everywhere is looking so run down. So sad.

I think there will be more bars and nightclubs to close yet. Not many people are willing to or can afford to pay the high drinks prices anymore.

Good afternoon biker i hope you are well it's been nice so far today but the skies are gettnng dull now thanks for our walk today and you know what it is ?

Hi Biker was the Metropol owned by Butlins and I've always enjoyed Blackpool for a few Beers all the best Paul

The sad part is when you walk down the side of it next to the road, know the history and local significance and see all the promo materials in the windows showing the fancy ballrooms and suites.... then your eyes wobble and refocus on the rotten window frames, tired paintwork, filth and cracked panes of glass.... You just know there's going to be an electrical fault next to a dry rotted beam and several broken down cars will almost tactically mean it's gonna take our heroes in the Fire Brigade at least half an hour to get close to it... By then... 😬 Literally 250 years heritage - gone...To be replaced by a Grenfell Flat Pack... Like everywhere else!

Thank you. After 5 hours in hospital getting a cast on my arm, your vlog is just wot I need. Have a cracking day ❤

It is a lovely hotel i think it would cost at least 3 mil to restore the building take care and stay safe

Britannia Hotels made substantial overall profits from block-booking agreements with the Home Office, registering nearly £40 million .

Morning biker, don't think the metropol will ever be a hotel again, always wondered why that Springfields shop has never moved to a better area, really nice shop as well, to be honest that whole area is a disgrace and needs dropping, thanks for the walk mate, cheers.

GOOD MORNING BIKER HAVE A GOOD DAY IT'S BRILLIANT VIDEO THANKS FOR THAT JOHN 😊

In my opinion if the Metropole was to be reopened as a hotel it would cost about 2Million to revamp first

Hi Biker Thanks  for another cracking video & Waikabout. It's gonna cost a lot to do the Metropole up.maybe while they doing it up they can do the Colonades  as well money well spent😊.  Take care😊😊

Hi biker ..we love goin uo that way  the quiet end lovely views looking out to sea  uo ther nice tram ride that way to Cleveleys  great sea front walk mate  .

Hello Biker - The thoughts of many of us about The Metropole Hotel will be decided by Blackpool Council - who 1 should look at The Colonnades - and as a visitor - stop the blocking around  Comedy Carpet. It puts us off - we still enjoy. Always will.

Hi biker,  i guess about 2.5 million to sort the metropol hotel based on the number of rooms and the bars and dining areas also the windows out side. But I'm sure the company who own it have made 10 X that amount of money over the year's from what I've heard other hotel's have been paid.

Used to stop at the metropole yours ago before the migrants moved in we used to love it what a shame it has got to this 😊😊😊

It raining hear in Oswestry today nice video  your videos always aer take ros

Let's face it parts of  Blackpool have become a shit hole.

Did the yellow one run out of paint.😂
