For those wondering with Munchlax, if you save before checking a honey tree, you can soft reset for the same pokemon, but both the gender and shininess will be rerolled. Yeah, you normally only have a 6 hour period to do it, but if you try to modify the date or time on your DS/3DS/emulator, it'll soft lock the game from any time based events for 24 hours, allowing you to just repeatedly soft lock that to keep soft resetting until the Munchlax is shiny

i was lookin forward to 2026 but kyle m*thod hunting has gotta be some sort of recession indicator

sir... you are a GOD simply because you took on the gen 4 sunkern radar... congrats on the shinies man!

Absolutely based for using a mat to demonstrate

6:44 shiny giratina hm mule is actually insane.

11:32 SPIRITOMB BUDDIES! I was fossil shiny hunting in Pokemon Lazarus for giggles, and got shiny Spiritomb in 23 encounters after restoring 3 Odd Keystones each time.

What an epic. Sunkern the harbinger of doom… Found Gen 2 Shiny Graveler while watching so thank you for the luck, sorry to see it came from such an arduous quest 😅 Congratulations and thank you for the vid man!

Method hunting is so hard you heard it here first

26:50 Why did bro just get so angelic when singing like why it so good

perfect video to watch while I method hunt in my favorite Pokemon game, Shining Pearl!

Shoutout to goomy at 48:20

Things I learned when pokechaining as a kid. Only go to a patch of grass that shakes 4 spaces away from you that’s not in a straight line from your character, if it’s 4 patches away from you in a straight line don’t go into it like that cacturne at 34:50. Also never go into a patch of grass that’s right on the border or in a corner touching the border like that cacturne also and the spearow later on in the video. Happy to be able to say I got really good at this method as a kid, got lots of shinies. Wish they kept it in the newer games.

Seeing you run away from that Mankey chain before even getting into an encounter at 42:34 broke my lil ole heart :(
congrats on all of the shinies though (even the m*thod hunted ones that you love so much)!!!!!! This is an hour of peak

I've been watching Party Arlie, Shiny Catherine, Nokimon and of course your channel lately. Ive never really invested myself into shiny hunting until i've started to binge your escapades. I've been trying to get my hands on a shiny Ponyta and shiny Shinx but no luck yet. I did contract pokerus for the first time during my grind which is insane. But I like to have your videos play in the background while I hunt, seeing your successes encourages me to continue haha.

I was not prepared for what this video was! Absolutely insane! This was such a cool quest and seriously impressive! Method odds may not be best odds, but man was this a cool video! Shoutout to Chama! Such a great group there too!

Him killing the Beldum chain and blaming the game is really funny

The gen 4 Primeape sprite is so cool! So much expression. Thanks for the fun video again.

Failed that beldum 4 times before saying fuck it and getting a master ball

Kwikpanik
•Uses an underleveled team in the highest level area of the three games
•Chooses the most difficult hunt Beldum
•Choses the worst area for hunting and the most difficult in the 3 games since it’s always sandstorm and it’s always difficult to see
•Ignores the rule of 4s multiple times and  goes for a patch two spaces away
Also Kwikpanik: why is method hunting so hard? 😭
Panik it’s so funny
