So, I've Never Played Pokémon Platinum

Professor Ganlon

Sorry for the length, those long HP Bars really began to sap into the runtime.

Despite often being considered by fans to be the greatest game in the series, I've never played Pokémon Platinum. In fact, I've never even owned the game, because I'm not spending a hundred bucks on a Pokémon game. So, with a brand new region on the horizon, I decided to take a trip through Sinnoh with new eyes, and finally beat the only mainline Pokémon games I've never played.

I distinctly remember losing to Cynthia so many times I actually stopped playing platinum until I reopened it again last month. I was maybe five or four. I'm sixteen now.

The amount of maniacal laughs in this video makes me think that the Professor twirled his mustache maybe a bit too hard.

You clocked Twink immediately, didn't even need to fully read the first textbox lmao

i've never played platinum too before, like, at all. Playing it blind was the best thing ever

43:35 I was not aware I was being graced with the presence of The Joker himself. I genuinely love this laugh of pure chaos though. (Even better if you speed it up)

Funny thing, in general 8, a Pokémon breeder has all three starters in the wild area, so the gen 8 starters at the least are probably endangered

Whole run coming down to the quirk in the enemy AI in reading mirror coat/counter is hilarious

Storm Drain does not negate Water moves in this generation. It only draws them in during Double Battles. The same with Lightning Rod and Electric moves. They were buffed to also outright negate those moves in Gen 5.

I swear we are on the same wavelength... was just replaying B2W2, now I'm replaying Platinum lol! Love the videos <3

Your videos are literally so funny. The commentary and calling your rival Twink kill me every time😭 Love the content as always!!! Awesome stuff it’s genuinely great!!!!

I don't know why but your commentary is so addictive

The grammatical structure of Twink’s sentence is perfectly fine and understandable. “He’s not scary so much as he is totally out there.” It’s basically just him saying, “He’s not scary, he’s just nuts” hahaha

I never leave YouTube comments, but I found your channel while enjoying a Platinum playthrough casually on my own. Your commentary is truly so exciting to watch; I went ahead and watched your other videos as well, your perspective and humorous timing are super entertaining to follow along. I have been watching many other Pokemon YouTubers for years and finding your channel was like stumbling on a pot of gold. I hope you continue to make more playthroughs, and I also look forward to supporting whatever new content you push out!

I truly appreciate that your team is actually unique compared to the cookie cutter gen 4 teams that circle around the web

Glad to see someone else has named their Drifloon "Zeppeli," though nowadays that nickname is reserved for Alakazam (because of the mustache).

On another note, JAR was so goated with freezing Aaron's Scizor.
