Tired of glossy year-end summaries where everyone around you is successful, productive, and happy? I, psychologist Artem Karpavichus, decided to take a different approach and honestly share my five biggest failures of the past year. Why is talking about failures better for your psyche than constantly bragging about your achievements?
Instead of creating an unrealistic picture of success, I believe that honestly talking about challenges and failures helps us grow closer, understand ourselves better, and learn valuable lessons. In this video, I openly share my personal experiences and analyze the psychology behind each of my "failures."
In this episode, you'll learn:
✅ Why my YouTube channel has become my "energy vampire" and is preventing me from finishing my second book (and how the psychology of dopamine swings works for bloggers).
✅ Why it becomes increasingly difficult to be charmed by new people as we age, and how one awkward phrase can ruin the whole experience.
✅ Slowing channel growth and changing audience: what this means for me as an author and why I'm turning to male subscribers.
✅ The eternal goal of "getting pumped up for summer" and what's really behind the desire to be in shape (spoiler: it's not about beauty, but about feeling in control of life).
✅ My creative quest and attempts to find my unique storytelling style, like that of great authors and speakers.
And at the end, you'll find an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at my recent photo shoot, where I'll show you the ins and outs of content creation and share my thoughts on building relationships with your audience.
Join the honest conversation! What "failures" from the past year helped you become stronger? Share them in the comments!
