Even in a band performance, they made Bloom the lead singer when we literally had Musa, THE FAIRY OF SOUND AND MUSIC

They should have done like Ninjago with each season being centered on a different character

It's not only that Bloom became center of everything but she lost her original character and became Mary Sue. Bloom in first 3 seasons was fiery cinnamon roll. She wasn't just kind, sweet, gentle and happy  all the time, she also had a short temper, she was reactive, she was impulsive, she was very emotionally intelligent, curious and overall had a lot of depth. Season 4 is when her personality started changing into Mary Sue and with season 5 and onwards pretty much nothing of her original personality was left. It truly worsens the story if all the screen time belongs to all perfect and all boring character.

I have yet to see a series that relies on the "random girl/boy" that discovers she is magic and goes to a magical school that doesn't completely crashes and burns once the school is over.

I believe he concept of Winx was originally to run the show through their school years and end with them reaching adulthood and Bloom reuning with her birth parents in a movie. But the show kept going because 🤑  Unfortunately it also joins in with the starting point of what seems to be the downturn of mature cartoons. Like Ben 10, reboots of classics like Teen Titans , powerpuff girls shows they're aiming for funny entertainment rather than deep emotional stories

3:04 I'll also add that Bloom would keep talking about Dominos whenever Layla/Aisha showed her worries for her own planet, I mean I could understand trying to relate but when it's ALWAYS happening about something Bloom didn't even witness it's just annoying

1:46  honestly it was always weird from the beginning how she always had to mention her "true parents" at any chance she got, obviously it was better at the beginning and not everything was focused on her but let's not forget that from the start she was already like that atleast a bit

That’s exactly why Bloom is so annoying—even though it was intended that way from the start; after all, it was titled Bloom the Fairy*, not a show about the whole group. If you look at other franchises, the storylines don't focus on just one specific character: *W.I.T.C.H. isn't just about Will; Monster High isn't just about Frankie (or rather, Draculaura, who sells well); My Little Pony isn't just about Twilight Sparkle; the Disney Fairies franchise isn't just about Tinker Bell; Ever After High isn't just about Raven (or rather, Apple, who plays the role of the "good" protagonist); Lego Elves isn't just about Emily; Lego Friends isn't just about Stephanie; and the Barbie movie universe—even when the characters have different names—isn't just about her.

I agree I hate how she became self ego center.
And when nickelodeon take over.... It's where all wink and specialist get killed.

This Wink Club basically suffered from Miraculous Ladybug type of writing where the show went from The Tales Of Ladybug and Cat Noir to just The Tales Of Ladybug while The Winx went from Winx Club to just The Bloom Club.
What I'm getting at is that The Writers eventually forget how important other main characters in the title screen supposed to be and just make The Main Character overshadow everyone.😅

I believe Bloom got ruined around season 4 of Winx his Club I believe season 5 should have it where Aisha toke Bloom's place in season 5 as being the main character of that season and layer cuts to Stella for season 6 then 7 could be about Musa and if they still kept the original art style then season 8 can be about Flora in the last season could be about techna

0:51 says while showing footage of her literally stepping on a living plant😂

I actually liked Molly C Quinn as Bloom in the Nickelodeon dub. She does a very awesome job playing her before her flanderization in later seasons.

I agree I actually went from liking bloom to hating her after a while she just got annoying and hard to be around 😭

edit: this is my first 100 likes gracias!

I know that Mystery Of Abyss was made just to save Rainbow from bankrupcy that Gladiators Of Rome almost caused, but a movie set in the OCEANS but no focus on Aisha and focusing on BLOOM AND SKY again?? lool

I agree she started out as a interesting character along with the girls but in the later seasons, it was slightly being more clearer that Bloom was being put into the front and even her transformation for Tynix  (and that she was the only one named after a transformation: Bloomix) was slightly longer than the other girls (its a shame to see a show that introduces 5 (later 6 or 7 if you count Roxy) girls only for Bloom to be put on the front because she the "main character" even though all the girls are the main characters). Here is how they should've been the main characters for each season and why: Season 1: Bloom because she could learn about her story and be the main character only for the first season like it was originally, Season 2: Musa since we learned about her family in season 1, Season 3: Stella because I felt like we learned more about he family too be (because of the marriage with her dad), Season 4: Roxy like how it was originally to be (which she debuted), Season 5: Aisha because, like Roxy, she is originally suppose to be the main focus, Season 6: Flora because her sister returned and we got to see her family, and Season 7: Tecna since we got to see her family in season 6 or 7, and if they did this, there wouldn't need to be a season 8 and when I say originally, I mean how the writers perceived how they were going to be the main characters but instead focused on Bloom instead.

1:25 I agree her being lost and not knowing what's ahead was really relatable

Poor Bloom..big flag for writers and director itself 💔💔

I noticed this change in the episodes about Tecnas rescue. Bloom literally steals her and her other friends spotlight. I missed seeing Musa and Aisha's reactions when they were with Tecna. Only Bloom got to enjoy a warm reunion with Tecna, while there wasn't really anything to see with the others. Especially at the end of the episode, instead of the camera focusing on Tecna and her friends, it focuses on Bloom as she puts a little snow into her fairy bottle.

Hot take(that's totally true): Season 4 caused the downfall of the show
