hi yall and thank you for hanging out for today’s video! today, we are crocheting a scrap tote bag out of our never ending pile of scrap yarn. this bag is a smaller model of my xine tote bag! i have linked the pattern down below for yall that are interested! this bag was a way for me to step out of my comfort zone and make something more funky! 🤭

To me it's sounds like one of the old school pencil sharpeners that were attached to the wall! My grandpa had one in his office downstairs it was great

I hope this makes sense.
When ending your row slip stitch, chain 2 and double crochet in the same stitch. Finish your row slip stitch into the double crochet, not the chain 2 and repeat. This should help keep your line straight up the bag. I learned this from a yt vid years ago. Nice bag. My daughter likes it too.😁

The sound is something from my childhood. We used to put plastic cups or playing cards in the spokes of our bikes so when we raced around it sounded like that.

If you make another scrap tote bag or scrap project, try changing one of the two colors at a time. That's gonna create more of a gradient effect. Another way is keeping a main color strand and do the color changing with the other one

Love this! I will make one now and the only difference is I will probably stagger color changes, like carry one over from the previous and then phase it out and do a second new color after a transition period, it would probably look super cool!

Hello...love following you and learning new things. That line you got when you changed colors..to hide that..make little crochet flowers..or put buttons down the line. Oh..I know this an old video..but I'm catching up. 😂😂 hope your enjoying your new crochet room.

One of the gears either needs oil or some bits of fibers are inside causing that issue. Some people on YT and TT have videos taking that style winder apart and how how to check the gears, it's really easy and good idea to do for maintance.

At first, I thought the sound was like a marble rolling through a marble run. After seeing the old pencil sharpener comment and the train (rolling on the rails), it does sound like those also
