Couple of things I completely forgot to mention in the video. First of which is why I didn’t include dead ops arcade, and the second thing is the round 100 that achieved on call of the dead

For dead ops, there’s two reasons I didn’t include it in this video. First is that I’m leaving it for a different type of video I’m planning to do after mw3’s life cycle ends.

The other reason is that I can’t include it even if I wanted to. For whatever reason, dead ops doesn’t launch for me on pc, so I can’t play it.

As for the call of the dead round 100, a week before uploading this video, someone managed to get to round 105 on call of the dead. The reason I didn’t include it is that I only heard about this after uploading the video, and I didn’t think I would need to check if someone got to round 100 since something like this would’ve been a massive deal in the community. To my surprise, I haven’t seen anyone talk about it.

Anyways, I’ll start working on the next video after the college semester ends in May to make sure I don’t fail any of my classes. So until then, enjoy this video

Black Ops 1 is the perfect Call of Duty game. Campaign is incredible, Multiplayer is iconic and feels so great, and zombies is atmospheric and fun. Its really got it all.

"I might have played this game more than any other person on the planet"

Alright, listen here, wise guy-

"In the last 5 months."

Ok valid

To this day, I have always preferred the visual style of BO1 Zombies as apposed to the over saturated and plastic-looking Chronicles remasters. (Don't get me wrong, the BO3 versions of the maps are asthetically pleasing but for me personally miss the mark when it comes to that unsettling and liminal feeling that the original versions give off).

This game may be old but it holds a special place in our hearts

Black ops 1 is my favorite. The atmosphere is creepy and mysterious, fun and memorable weapons, interesting wonder weapons, and the challenge of survival was still at the forefront. When people say old zombies is outdated, I think what they really feel is that they are over the core gameplay of survival, and later games really contributed that.

I'm a simple man. I see a BO1 video essay, I hit like.

this video was uploaded days after a Call Of The Dead round 100 was finally achieved legitimately after almost 13 years.

Moon is toxic ASF but it will remain my favorite zombies map ever bro. Raw atmosphere, amazing wonder weapon, my favorite Easter egg, and just overall one of the most epic experiences in COD zombies

Quick tip for ascension:
place claymores on each perk machine the more you progress

17:53 Today I learned you can place a claymore on that windowsill lol

Idk if it was a meme to reduce Sarah M. Geller to "Daphne" when she was literally Buffy the Vampire Slayer...

was a lot of fun and absolute pleasure helping you with this - don’t think I could ever play this game without Blauwbeer now

31:22 It's very obvious by looking at BO1's guns and multiplayer that the game was originally meant to be set in the 80's, hence why all the guns and most of the tech in the game is from the 80's, but at the last minute they were told to set it in the 60's (probably because Activision wouldn't let them release a Cold War game unless it had Vietnam in it)

Never ask a OG zombies player what they called training back in the day

Dead ops arcade players be malding for not getting mentioned in

Love the video, your points about the maps are spot on.

15:10 this is another reason I love BO1. The fact the the guns are under powered forces the player to be smarter and better. Maybe it means slower rounds, but it also means I’m not just brainlessly spamming deadwire for 40 rounds. Maybe I only get to round 25, but if it was without the thunder gun I had to work for it

Not gonna lie I’ve been seeing the updates for this video and I’ve been patiently waiting and I can say with certainty this is one worth watching, great vid man 🙏 definitely worth the wait 👍

Black ops 1 zombies could be my favorite zombies experience honestly, it just feels good I love how it has real guns and not all of them are good. If they fixed the leaderboards I would play it a ton moren
