I never knew this show existed! James and Josh are amazing together. Love Jon and Romesh too. Never seen the other 2 before in all honesty, presuming they're newish to circuit? Or have I been away from terrestrial TV for too long...

James Acaster being outed as having never watched the Graham Norton Show was the best.

The Romesh puppet looking directly into the camera is the perfect face for a 4th wall break after something sarcastic is said hahahaha.

I love how that puppet now appears behind Romesh during zoom interviews with bbc breakfast et al...

Romesh’s puppets hand movement when it said “yup” was absolutely amazing x)

'Do a voice though for the puppet' 😂😂

I suddenly want to see James Acaster take Graham Norton’s place on the Graham Norton show

So pretty much throughout you can hear Rose's laugh on top of everything.

AND IT. IS. GLORIOUS.

at first I felt so bad for Rose, clearly the least comfortable with the whole puppet thing, losing the betting match & having to improvise a date with her ex on TV. but then she totally flipped the script and left him speechless by the end. good for her

4:24 Romesh' impression of Josh is genius!

I love how rose got her puppet and ibstantly turned her back on everyone else to play with it.

Does anyone else think that the puppet of james looks like russell howard

@sub2willne52 7 years ago

I would have lost it if the puppets were wearing the same clothes as their people.

Romesh's puppet was hysterical. Such a good sport, very good stuff

@sophieb617 7 years ago

This is so weird to think James and Rose used to go out.

Romesh is the only potential puppeteer here.

Genuinely one of the funniest segments I've seen on a comedy panel show for YEARS. And to think Dave used to just be synonymous with crapness and Top Gear and Mock the week repeats from 2002. Love a bit of Acaster now as well - only discovered him during lockdown. Funny how it takes a global pandemic to find some good comedy right below your nose...
