You know you are our Lancaster expert! Yes, we agree that the pretzels at the Countryside Road Stand are the best. Definitely think Sight and Sound should be in your one day in Lancaster.  Like how you ended your day at the farm with smores. You definitely made the one day in Lancaster jam packed. Everything looked like so much fun. You did a wonderful job putting this together. I know you spend lots of time planning and editing your videos. It shows in the end product. In the summertime we love to end our Lancaster day getting ice cream. There are so many wonderful dairies in the area and we are always finding a new place for ice cream. We love Lapp Valley Farms, Fox Meadows Creamery, Pine View Dairy, and Down on the Farm Creamery. There is nothing like homemade ice cream made with milk from the cows on the farm.
We also enjoy having chicken barbecue  for lunch at one of the local farm markets.

Great video featuring many of our favorite places to visit. Our family has been vacationing in Lancaster County for nearly 50 years! We love staying at their sister motel Traveler's Rest located near Kitchen Kettle.  Their complimentary breakfast is available from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. and a 2 hour    tour is available throughout your stay. Jordon Smucker is the best motel manager in the hospitality business! Looking forward to another family trip this September including our 20 month old grandson  visiting for the first time.

Busy Bees was rated the number one place for soft pretzel in Lancaster County. I agree 100%. Busy Bees are on the west side of Intercourse on route 340. About 1/4 mile on the south side of the road.

We would love to spend the day with you but I don't think we could keep up. That was one full day the only thing I would change is to go to Shady Maple for breakfast. You did a great job editing this. Thank you for bringing back great memories.🚐🙂😊

I live in southern Delaware. My husband and I used to go to Lancaster a few times a year. The first time or two we mostly shopped. After those initial vi a it's we always just drove around for the most t part. They have such beautiful farms and t hey are obviously a source of great pride judging by how well kept c they are. We also always went to the farmers market in Bird in Hand as lthough we purchased more at rode side produce markets. The farmers market had a booth where they sold c the most delicious oatmeal raisin cookies. They we d e the main reason we always stopped at the farmers market. A old friend of mine drove amish people back and forth to their jobs. I never really und we stood we hy it wS okay to them to pay someone to drive them to and from their jobs but not okay to own automobiles, partly because they tend to be frugal but more so because it didn't make sense to me why it was okay to ride, but not drive. That said I think they deserve a lot I f respect for f staying true to their faith and heritage.
