It was late Saturday night, and the streets were deserted except for the entertainment district. It was a long day traveling through Iwate during my Tohoku trip, and I ended up in Morioka after this, so it was a bit of a struggle lol

俺は治安とか、人の感じとかは花巻市の方が好きだし住みやすいと思う。
そこそこ生活できる店、スーパーは揃ってるし盛岡にも近い。
電車も使えて、車も持てる。
少し行けば温泉もある。
そんな宮沢賢治の故郷、花巻市に住みたい
従兄弟が花巻に住んでいます。マルカン大食堂は、花巻東高校時代の大谷翔平さんや菊池雄星さんも利用していたようです。デパートとしては閉店しても、このように食堂だけでも存続しているのは嬉しいですね。秋田市の木内百貨店も閉店せず、1階のみ営業しているデパートもあります。
この動画でも紹介された私の故郷八戸のさくら野百貨店はこれからもずっと続けて欲しいと思います。今は東京に住んでいますが、定年後は、さくら野に歩いて行けるところにUターンしようと思っています。
