No wonder we are running out of helium 😂

I sometimes forget how old this show is, this was all before smartphones. As far as I'm aware we don't care nearly as much about airplane mode anymore

Rest well Grant, you where an amazing Battle bots Contestant and Myth Buster!, Thanks Mythbusters for uploading this! It's awesome!

"Can A Helium Rat Fly?" danm Dyslexia xD

Mythbusters is single handedly the best show ever created. Change my mind.

"A lot of plastics more than a hollywood convention". Almost went over my head but damn😅

12:35 Actually, the cell phone had nothing to do with it. The pilot got disoriented, may or may not have been on unapproved medication, and mistook the ADI readings because he first trained on Soviet ADIs, which display banks in the opposite way western ADIs display them.

i need this in my life, loved mythbusters as a kid

The blueprint segments feel like when Jim Carrey was on Johnny Carson's show. Johnny asked if Jim had any material he could do and Jim said "yeah I think I've got something" as he reaches for a harmonica in his pocket before leaning over and saying "it's not like we didn't plan this!" in a smartarse kind of way.

"So what myth are we doing today Adam?"
"Well, as you know because we rehearsed this and were part of production meetings for the last two weeks, we're testing the myth of whether.."

Love how Grants helmet is the same as the one Jamie wore during the "Jet Pack" build. Just with "Crash Hyneman" taped over

30:59 "With the floor polished to perfection ..." 31:02 Plenty of obvious crud on the floor ...

Mythbusters was a phenomenal tv show and since then not an single show did come close.

I miss this kind of presentation that looks like a vlog. Feel more personal and real. Unlike the later seasons,that seems like sitcom,sometimes overly edited commercial, 43:25  but science oriented

I love hearing that helium voice. XD

19:00 must’ve been the wind

15:14 "Who's car is that, in the driveway?" That was frickin savage haha

13:23 Jeff looks genuinely excited to get stuck in!

The reason they didn't try again is because it cost like $2,000 just for the helium alone!
157 cubic feet ~= 4.446 m³
* 50 pontoons = 222.3 m³
* ~$9.36/m³ * 222.3 m³ = ~$2080.39

Not to mention tank rental and delivery!

And of course the usual expenses for filming (which is also expensive)

Thanks I learnt alot it was so well explained to the point that I even did it using my phone

Kari's helium voice was very cute!
