Jimmy is back on stage now for about 2 years and he's playing like never before. I visited 2 of his concerts last time and he's phenomenal.

Such a shame those damn drugs destroyed so much

made for wesley changed my life

I saw him 5 days ago in Noordwijk and I was completely blown away. I've never seen or heard anything like it before. Jimmy's talent is worth millions to be honest.

Discovering Django as I did at 16 I’m now 74 ...is a life changing moment it like enlightenment or self realisation and everyone you meet who discovers this sensational musician we become one ..he is like Jesus ina way showing you that heaven is in your soul when you findv5he key. Reinhardt is a religious experience
To a young mind....

Documentaire a gerber ! C est comme fouiller  dans des poubelles  , des choses intimes  qui doivent le rester !!!

Why is it never mentioned that the second cousin of the grandfather of Jimmy's father is Django Reinhardt.

the Yngwie of gypsy jazz

That sort of passion will eat you alive, it's like a wild animal. It has no pretense it just exist like a flame and it draws you to it. He lives freely and completely like his playing perhaps there's a connection? When he feels boxed in all he can think about is how to get free again...and the drugs are the easiest route out...regardless he is one of the greats because of his natural ability, what you see is what you get.

This a GREAT documentary. Jimmy is an unbelievable talent. He was a force in nature back then. And Jon Larsen is also an AMAZING guitar player and has done SO MUCH for Gypsy jazz.  Jimmy is my favourite Gypsy jazz player, along with Stocholo. Thx for this.

jimmy u rule knowing al sides of life...respect

Last friday he was phenomenal in Bimhuis, Amsterdam including an introduction Faifie Reinhardt's son

Since he's handsome and in very good physical shape, it's almost unfair that Andreas is so technically gifted on the guitar... Amazing player

amazing jimmy

thanks Filip, wow he's got some talent and career, even songwriting for Asian pop groups, smart guy.

daamn!!! thank you SO much, I have been looking for this documentary for a long long time

Cool documentary. Jimmy is such a phenomenal talent but he looks very agitated and pugnacious in this footage.
