Your mom’s lovely blanket is Log Cabin knitting. It’s gorgeous! I made some Log Cabin blankets. They are addictively fun. I’m also making Scrappy Stripey socks. 😊 Your socks are looking great!

Ooo thanks for the mention lovely!
Love a good sock based video! I have also marked up the fairisle ones from summer Lee book it looks soooo nice’ excited to see how they look when you start them! The blanked that was all garter stitch? Yes please! Haha!

I love your videos Jo. I'm making the songbird mittens for my mum, who was 60 in September. We live far away so we haven't seen each other since her birthday. I'm going to give them to her in person when I see her in a few weeks. Love the colour wheel idea

Great vlog, loved all your socks ..the bread looked delicious and your mums’s blanket was fabulous.. thankfully hubby and I both being retired split the chores then we both get time to do stuff we enjoy without chore guilt.  I’m working my way through unfinished WIPs especially as I bought yarn today at the Glasgow school of yarn show and want to get started on them 😂, but it stresses me out having all these unfinished WIPs..so tonight was spent starting to sew all my granny squares that were supposed to be a cardigan, but I’ve decided to change it up to be a vest/pullover 🤞..next will be to finish socks for Christmas present, then another blanket which is for Christmas too🫣 look forward to your next vlog 🥰

Very enjoyable Jo! Think I will copy your idea of mixing knitting with chores - I'm sure I'll get the chores done quicker so  more knitting can be done!!  Scrappy stripey socks sound a great idea- no pattern to think about. I shall have a rummage in my sock yarn basket!
Look forward to the next podcast. Take care. X

I'm knitting the Woodland  Rose socks by Kay Jones, colourwork. and I've just finished the first sock. So now I'm going to do clue 1 of the mystery Gnome. My last finished pair of socks were Lake Ontario by Nancy Wheeler. Enjoying seeing your sock choices. All the best Jane

That bread looked delicious Jo!! Was it good? My bread is always crap 😂

I think you are very disciplined I’d have to turn my phone off for 30 mins or I’d just faff 😂😂😂
