Who ACTUALLY Has A Chance In Smash Bros 6?

Everyone has their dream Super Smash Bros newcomer, but who ACTUALLY has a chance to join the Smash Bros 6 roster? From Waluigi and Crash Bandicoot to Master Chief, I rank the most likely fighters.

In this video, I’m putting the biggest Smash newcomer rumors to the test. Instead of just making a wishlist, I’m ranking these candidates by who Nintendo and Sakurai would realistically put in the next game. I’m judging characters objectively based on fan demand, Nintendo relevance, moveset potential, and practicality. Will Waluigi finally escape the Assist Trophy zone? Is Master Chief too big of an Xbox icon? And who takes the ultimate S-tier spot? You'll have to watch to find out.

If Crash gets added they have to reference that advert when he yells at Nintendo, that would be so legendary.

Honestly I don't feel like Bandana Dee is the character who gets his own trailer, I feel like he's the character who gets announced alonside another character or the game itself. Like Villager or Ken.

To awnser your questions about Bandana Dee, hes arguably been the co-protagonist of the Kirby series for years, being P2 in games like Battle Royale, Fighters 2, Star Allies, Rainbow Curse and Forgotten Land, as well as being the representative of the Waddle Dee species in the series, which are the most recognisable characters from the series beyond Kirby himself.
He could also use other abilities Waddle Dees have been shown to use, like the Parasol or Beam wand and maybe even the ability mixing from Star Allies. Sure, he wouldn't be the flashiest or the most hyped character, but not all of them have to be, in my opinion

Claiming that Rayman is a character campaign that's ran out of oxygen is kinda crazy when he's still consistently in majority of fan rosters and has always scored in the top 10 of almost every poll

Unbelievable that some people still believe shadow would be an echo fighter of sonic.

Imagine this game: Mario vs Sonic vs Crash Bandicoot vs Master Chief

Man that Shadow underestimation was insane

Everything said about Waluigi was said about Ridley.

But now that "too big" is debunked, I legitimately want a playable Rathalos from Monster Hunter.

I genuinely hate when people say shadow is like sonic, hes completely different, just "cooler sonic"?So were just forgetting ALL the chaos powers and ALL the doom powers

I gotta bring up some points in favor of my boy Leon. For one RE4 STARTED on GameCube and the Wii version is considered the best version of the original game. Second RE characters have been made more cartoony and less scary in games like Marvel vs Capcom. Third there are many creative things they can do to make him not just a gun character. His spread of weaponry using the Pistol, Rifle, TMP, and Shotgun for either get off me moves or to get small damage over time. Final Smash is the Unlimited or FINAL Rocket Launcher. Also because Sakurai LOVES to include details like this.... When Leon is 0%-25% he is fine and stands and idles normally, Then when in the 25%-55% range his is in Caution in this state he will hold his side and feel recoil from guns like the shotgun and is also slower, THEN 55% and Above he is in Danger his speed is much lower and he takes more recoil he is also hunched over and limps. He can also have 3 looks spread across his alts. RE2, RE4, and then Requim. Also a gun character that has a Parry for when you get close can be scary in a whole different way.

Shadow is SO easy to make a unique moveset for. While he is "fast hedgehog" like Sonic, he has a large arsenal of weapons/items and all his chaos control nonsense, he'd be so much different. I feel like he could atleast be dlc while Eggman is a base roster.

I think shadow generations helps out shadow's case much more, hopefully he gets in next game if it ever drops

I know it’s a meme no pun intended but we need mii costumes for mugman and papyrus.
Their brothers need theme to be complete

@GreenMaskedFigure9094 4 months ago

As a diehard bandana Dee requester. One thing I would like to add is that he doesn’t have to EXCLUSIVELY use his spear. Look at his moveset from smash flash 2, it also draws from parasol & even beam.

Yes he’s not the flashiest character but he’s definitely the one who’s earned it. Plus we not gotten a new Kirby rep since BRAWL.

I’m sure you’ve heard of the whole “Hat goomba” argument before. (Even though that doesn’t apply anymore since Piranha plant happened). Bandana Dee isn’t just some common enemy with a hat & weapon. He has a whole character behind him too.

I could ramble on & on about it but instead I would like to direct you too Designing For’s video on Waddle Dees (mainly bandana Dee’s section but I’d recommend you watch the rest of the video first) it explains things better than I ever could.

there are a few details about Sans, that makes him less likely
1 - he's super lazy (remember, he won't fight you unless all the monsters are killed, leave 1 alive and he'll let you go with just a warning), another reason why the Mii Costume is perfect
2 - his stats, he literally has only 1 attack, 1 defense and 1 HP, he's not the strongest monster, he's the most difficult to fight, cause he breaks the system
3 - Toby Fox simply doesn't want his characters in a crossover title (that's why everytime his characters show up in other titles, they aren't really his characters, but costumes instead)

may I suggest, Shovel Knight or Shantae instead?

Giving Master Chief a 3/10 on Nintendo relevance seems awfully generous

@ConnorTheUndying 4 months ago

Saying all this shit about Bandana Waddle Dee and Shadow, before putting Crash into S tier is an insane decision honestly. The Bandana Dee disrespect especially, it's the kind of stuff I hear from people who really don't give a darn about Kirby outside of Smash Bros. and Super Star.

Based Phoenix pick though.

@mr.kirbo64 4 months ago

Bandana Dee is probably the most realistic chance we Kirby fans will ever have to see a modern Kirby rep. Or, heck, any Kirby rep outside of the Sakurai games.

Which is something that Kirby fans haven't been too happy about; "The Sakurai Bias"

It's not that bad, but it's still not the best.

Also, like what another commenter said; Bandana Dee has been Kirby's de facto player 2 for a while now.
