Thanks for featuring me once again, I love this series! This wasn't my best roster this time, it's mainly built off the foundation of the last one, but I found the "Nintendo Only" limitation pretty fun once I got the idea. I think I've made my Star Fox distain very clear from all of these, very sorry lmao. Although, I am very disappointed you didn't find the King of the Pond in my roster. Tsk, tsk.

To explain Pauline: Rivals of Aether 2 introduced a bunch of new specials for stuff like pummels, ledge attacks, getup attacks, and I really love that idea, so I imagine a new Smash would have all of those plus a Shield Specials for stuff like swapping characters (Pokémon Trainer, Zelda/Shiek), Inkling filling her ink tank back up, or in the case you were most curious about, Pauline briefly turning into Oddrock for some brief invulnerability.

If there's one (or I guess two?) characters that I'm sad I didn't get to put in, it's Maki and Omura from Orbitals, which just came out a few days ago. I didn't know if they counted as a first, second, or third party character! I just found it better to be safe than sorry and scrapped them, but they would've been very fun!

Anyway, I'm happy to get another A-Tier, and I'll be expecting Part 4 by my desk by noon. I'll probably get a head start while I'm at it!

I've been binging these videos and it's been great to watch

Muncher is a small, lightweight, and fragile fighter in the roster, but despite this, its attack power is quite deadly. It attacks mainly with its leaves and bites, giving it short range but deadly attacks. Muncher also possesses numerous defensive options to offset its light weight. Muncher's neutral special is a straightforwards upward bite, its most iconic attack. This gives it super armor while biting, making it dangerous to touch, but it also ends up immobile and vulnerable to grabs. This means Muncher's neutral special must be used wisely, else a counterattack can bite into its defenses. As a side special, the Muncher spawns a Prickly Goomba from World 9-7 in New Soup Wii, this unique enemy will stay in place at a point in the map and wait for an opponent to trip over its spiky exterior. The Up Special has the Muncher enter a miniature Warp Pipe and appear back on-stage. While it's a powerful recovery tool, it leaves Muncher vulnerable when it emerges. For its Down Special, the Muncher encases itself into a box of ice, a reference to how it's depicted frozen in SMB3 6-10 and NSMBW 9-7. This defends the Muncher from attacks, but the ice cube can break easily, stunning the Muncher when this happens. And lastly for a final smash, an army of munchers will emerge and occupy the entire stage's ground, making things deadly for anyone who isn't in midair.

This series needed more Sega, so I made sure to deliver! It was honestly even harder to make this roster than my first one because I wanted to ensure it truly represented the entire history of Sega, from the beginning to the modern day, in a satisfying way. Glad you guys enjoyed it!

I personally think that Ogerpon is a perfect representation for Gen 9 as a whole as you can make them a stance character with what mask you are wearing, and then Terastalize as either a Super Powered up Final Smash state, or as a less OP state, but still buffs them while locking them into the mask that they Tera-ed into.

My primary thought process with the 3rd parties was to give some of the bigger ones a second character (Or in FF's case, a 2nd non-VII character). The only 3rd parties that I kept that I'm not a massive fan of are Bayonetta and Banjo, but both were really high on the Smash Ballot, so I felt like I had to keep them.

Hi, I'm a western Sakura Wars fan. The claim that there's only seven of us is a gross understatement.

There’s actually more like nine or ten of us.

Heh, didn’t expect a plebeian to know anything about the Orange Pikmin. Orange Pikmin was a rare Pikmin type that only ever appeared in one game, the Hikkonuki Pikmin minigame only accessible through E-reader cards in the Japanese release of Pikmin 2. In the minigame, you play as Olimar in a sliding block puzzle game where you have to pick as many Pikmin as you can before running out of moves. The only ability of the orange pikmin was that it acted as a score modifier. It’s an obscure part of Pikmin lore, but the coolest thing is that I made half that shit up (Hikkonuki Pikmin is real, the orange Pikmin is not. That’s just art I stole from somewhere)

Please do a Part 4

Hilarious time to post this because Twitter is an absolute war zone right now bc somebody made a list with kris deltarune as a newbie and sora getting cut

On Saturday I found the first video, then I watched the second part, I started making my own roster to upload to Discord, and now the third video is out XD I hope to be there for part 4 🎉

Hey! Idk if they told you but my roster was made all in PowerPoint. Loved getting to be a part of this vid. Was surprised you didn’t like the Toy-con Bot addition, was sure that’d get me in A tier at least haha

Yeah I should have put names, but the second splatoon character is an octoling, which the names would have helped in conveying that. Browt is suppose to be his final evo, and I originally had impa instead of Calamo but I just think he would have a more fun move set, plus he is my favorite Zelda character from the wild era so I put him as a personal pick while Sidon is more realistic. And for FE, I just feel like Nintendo is gonna want to but 2 fortune weave characters, and I wanted to at least but the two most interesting. And yes Tingle is the pre order bonus character, I think keeping it joke characters is what sakurai would do. Thank you for looking at my roster!

YAY!! One more King Bob Omb and Terra Fan!!

Can't wait for part 27 when the game gets announced

I'm also not JPMon but I do recognize the character above Lara Croft to be the Ostrich Knight from Joust, a perfect rival for Cai tbh

My main is Every Single Power Ranger.

Hello! The Beav half of PKBeavs here!

Yeah I went for newcomers only purely because I felt the roster last time was way too safe, and I wanted to give it a more heavy go!

We did try to think of some more good mario people but no one from the main series really came up aside from Toad, even thinking now I can't think of anyone. Mallow was there over Geno because we're both of the generation that skipped the initial Geno hype and are now just sick of seeing him, and besides, weather manipulation and such is just cooler anyway!

The PK half of us is a HUGE fire emblem fan. Dunno how it stretched out to 10 but.. hey at least they're all very unique! Of them all like 2 fight with swords? A big upgrade imo. She's also a huge fan of ASH.

We didn't go wild on the 3rd party characters because I also wanted to show that there are many Nintendo Characters still waiting in the wings! I don't want anyone who ever sees this video to say that there aren't any good nintendo characters left again!

Plant in the fumbnail
tears of kissing you

Good watch

1:26:42 Hi that's me, yeah I just didn't know how to edit in the echoes in Time lol

I think the Rivals was a coincidence lol

Cynthia Is meant to have Garchomp, Spiritomb, and Lucario

Nia was my most biased addition, and she represents both 2 and 3
