I used to watch this almost every night back when I was about 5-6 years old. Can't believe I finally found it again. Love it.

The producers of this vid dropped a few knackers; Chally 1 gun weighing 18 tons,
the chiffy being over dubbed with a CV12, Warrior only capable of 65kph, etc but this is still a belting visual feast for anyone who loves British Army vehicles.
Many thanks Lucy!!.

I remember having this and fantastic firefighters as a boy 😁

I had this on vhs tape and I’ve also seen this tank in real life and I crawled underneath it when it on a ramp.

I love that line "even the faithful chieftain can sometimes breakdown" 😂😂 I'm guessing they didn't tell the narrator about the old chiefs favourite party trick 😂😂 never the less thanks for uploading this was a real nostalgia trip from my favourite childhood series

This was one of my favourite videos to watch with my dad as a kid.
Talk about about a nostalgia trip. 🥲

mate I fucking love u for posting this one was my favourite out of the 3

4:09 I heard that Chieftan ~1999 and it reminded me of the T-REX roar at the end of Jurassic Park as the banner falls down.

This is my childhood right here
Had all three as a kid and didn't know there was a fourth one called Police Go until i was in college. It wasn't as good

"It's late, wet and getting dark"
The first and third of those mean the same thing...
I always remembered it as "It's cold, wet and getting dark"

I loved this programme as a child, around 6 years old, used to watch it all the time. With the timing of this show, I suspect the exercise demonstrated in this  episode, was one of the last for the Chieftain, as that same year 1995  it was withdrawn from service in the UK.  And the Challenger 1 would be superseded by the Challenger 2 only 2 years after this, with the Challenger 1 main battle tank going out of service in 2001 6 years later.  it's possible that some of the vehicles still remain in service that took part. The Repair and recovery  challenger 1 still remains in service although i am not sure about the one shown here.  I am amazed at how incredibly versatile these now pieces of history are, even with todays standard.

Thank you so much
Finally see full video

Awesome video! Love the challenger 1 and avlb!

As a toddler, NOTHING was cooler than the CRARRV, a tank that pulls other tanks?  Come on...

Another word for the battlefield is the warzone. From joe. X

i like tanks

Thanks so much for uploading this, although are you sure it was released in ‘95 as I spotted  what looked like a CR2 driver training tank in the hanger clip at the beginning which didn’t enter service until 1998.

This and the episode on the Fire Service were both favourites of mine as a child! Both purchased on VHS from a Woolworths! Anyone know if the Chieftain breakdown was genuine or staged?

Dual Purpose Spartan

Challenger, Armored, Recovery, And, Repair, Vehicle spells CARARV
Wikipedia says CRARRV, meaning it's ChallengeR...
Wait no, Challenger ARmoured Recovery and Repair Vehicle
Still dumb it had no stat screen but DID get its own theme song
