You are made of something we cannot fully explain. Inside every atom in your body sits a nucleus, and inside that nucleus, protons and neutrons hold themselves together with the strongest force in the universe. For decades we thought we understood it. Physicists are learning we barely scratched the surface.

Ahead, we travel past the edge of the atom itself. We meet particles glued together so tightly that nobody has ever pulled one out alone. We find a proton whose mass comes almost entirely from energy trapped inside it, not from the tiny particles it holds. We reach a neutron star, where matter may break apart into something no lab on Earth can hold.

If this journey pulls you in, hit like and subscribe, it helps this channel keep exploring the universe with you.

Take a breath. This is the nucleus, and we are going in.
