Arthur Beetson didn’t play in a premiership winning parramatta side, and only played one season there with Bob O’Reilly 1980 a fair portion of it in reserve grade, they also played together at the roosters

I would always pester my Dad to get to the game earlier so we could watch the warm ups... 2001 2nd Ashes Test at Bolton, we were 2rows from the front behind the posts where the Kangaroos were warming up. The hardest hitter on the tackle shields was Johns! And easily too.

The greatest commentator unsung 😅😅

Good bloke called it as it is and great knowledge of the game. Not frightened to call clowns out in society when they needed it enjoy your retirement Ray.

A great reflection about this great game in that it's far from global. NRL going to Papua-New Guinea? Reserve judgement on that!

I really think thurston should be the next immortal because really he wasnt apart of the fab 4 in club land

Lol Ray called Jack begging for help, fearing for his legs being broken. Not the way he portrayed the story haha

I like Ray Hadley as a caller and commentator. Not afraid to say what he thinks amongst all the woke cowards in our media and politics. I agree with his summation by and large except to say that the Brick with Eyes is the best front rower the game has seen, and I think the game was at its best just before the Super League war in the early 90's.
