In this video I’m showing how to solder copper pipe fittings like a pro! Soldering pipework has been done for many years using the same equipment. This can leave the job being messy or damaging your own body with using such things like wire wool!

When soldering I like to make sure the copper is prepped the best it can using the drill pipe cleaners from techersltd. After the pipe is cleaned and prepped I can then flux using the Fluxuator. This tool keeps things much tidier and stops getting flux all over your hands or contaminating the tub of flux with all sorts!

The blowtorch I’m using is something I’ve used in the past and recent purchased to start using again. It’s the Javac flexi torch which allows to get in tight areas while bending the nozzle to shape! This is also great when scolding in units as you can bend the torch flame back to the front, giving minimal risk to burning behind.

Once soldered using the bending tip technique for maximum control, the joints wiped and cleaned using
A scotch pad, finishing off with some brasso and clear lacquer for that perfect finish!
