I know it’s “just preseason” but Grimes looked absolutely amazing tonight

I’m loving the energy of the new team. Team ball, team defense! Go Lakers!

Lakers will surprise a lot of team this year on how good they are.

Carr balled out. He will be in the rotation before the new year 100%

When has the lakers had 15 steals or picked up players full court?

I love it

Team definitely looks younger, faster and more athletic , a lot of players that can pass , dribble and shoot

As Riley says No boards no rings , looney 9 boards is being underrated ,

Hello Dalton, it's the Shanghai sharks

Knect looks done with the Lakers and might be heading to the Clippers if the Lakers wave him. He gets the opportunity to build up his value and develop into his own. His contract can be affordable on the Clippers and He got the talent to take a chance on

I get that this is just preseason, but the Lakers looked exactly as I expected. I’ve been saying on here that this team is going to catch a lot of teams off guard and actually be better defensively with all the wings they have. I thought playing Vando alongside Mamu would make the most sense while Adou developed a bit more, but it appears Adou is already there. The Lakers should absolutely be okay with his growing pains, they will come. The Lakers will be a fun team to watch this year. Can’t wait for tonight’s game.

My biggest take away so far is that we definitely look quicker, perimeter defense looks better as well, and they are high motor !This team will be nasty regular season with Kessler protecting the rim not saying championship but definitely not a push over and could give teams a run for their money.

Zaire, Thybulle, Adou, Jake - They can have 2 of these guys on the court at all times. The rotating cast will preserve all of them, while at the same time guaranteeing non-garbage minutes. That's not including Vando, Grimes, and Carr who can all contribute on the defensive end so the main 4 arent overplayed. That 4 man rotation, with Vando offering relief as the defensive non-center means that they can attack full-force as their minutes can be intentionally capped.

Glad to finally be back watching Lakersnation regularly now. It was an amazing summer with FIFA but basketball is back and it feels like it's going to be a GREAT season! Go Lakers!!

Guys it's preseason and it's Sacramento. Relax

Bros, our team looks so good. I don't want to hear nothing about it's preseason. They came out ready to play this game like it's a regular season game and they look absolutely phenomenal

Preseason will give you an outlook of what the team can be, remember the 2012-13 with Dwight and Nash and how the season ended, this team looks promising

Watching the team playing with energy, defense, good shooting, and with pace is so refreshing... The Lakers definitely have better depth than last year and more versatility!!!

Your hate on Jaden Hardy & weird bias towards Bronny is unfair. Jaden is clearly the better player, no hate to bronny but he needs to go to a tanking team so he can get more playing time.

Lakers roster are finally going to be almost entirely in-tune with JJ’s vision/ideology/culture.

These new roster additions are all modern/diverse-skill-set/smart players, or smart players like Looney, who are used to playing with these types of modern players.   All fully able and willing to share this vision, help evolve it further, and work together very well, executing it at a high level.

Lakers fans, and fans of evolutionary/modern basketball, are all in for a real treat this season.

Too early an over-reaction to say COTY front runner ?   Yes.   But not as much as many might imagine.

who saw when laRavia hit his first three he celebrated like it was a relief.
