NOBODY is ever ready for Snuff.

It is 100% clear that you have needed this type of music in your life man

He made this song for one of his ex...Paul Grey helped him a ton with this song. Paul passed away in 2010. He now feels and thinks of Paul when he plays it. It's a heartbreaking song, that's for sure.

Snuff be like: “you expected a metal song but now you’re crying instead”

This is exactly why rock music lovers, love rock music. The common misconception of rock music is that it is just angry screaming… but in reality, there are very deep emotions and lyrics in the songs and it provides the listeners with an emotional catharsis, much like you had in this reaction. Helps make you feel just a little less alone in this world… hugs

Shawn once explained in an interview that being a maggot (a Slipknot fan) can be a metaphor for fans that feed on the pain in their songs so one day they can transform and fly away, and those with depression or other issues can listen as a coping mechanism which may help them get through whatever they've got going on so they can one day move on. It's a great explanation and very fitting. 🙏

One of the most true emotional videos he has ever done

"Snuff" by Slipknot was originally written about Corey Taylor's divorce, it took on a new meaning and became associated with Paul Gray #2 after his death. R.I.P

This song is proof that being emotionally heavy is just as powerful as being brutally heavy. Maybe even more powerful.

The fact that you’re a rap fan and felt this on the level you did says a lot about this type of music … it’s why we gravitate to this type of music. Pure and raw emotion man … sometimes there’s no explanation for how it hits us … we just feel it deep in our soul!!

Keep Corey in our thoughts. He stated that he is going through some shit now, had to cancel some live shows🙏✌🏽🇺🇸😊Teddy we feel you man!

This is why we love heavy metal man.
You can channel so much into it.

Everyone that I know that is a metalhead is a well balanced emotional person because we use the music to help us through rough times.
It truly is therapeutic.

Slipknot heaviest song. Ever.

The music is great. It is your soul that is what keeps people coming back. Don’t even hide it. In a world of fake, staged crap, authenticity is rare and - at least to me - needs to be cherished. Know that your honesty and rawness touches others, makes us feel less alone, and there’s healing in sharing. Thank you, Teddy.
