I couldn't agree more with you Kayla and people nowadays are so judgemental for no reason and don't understand the alt community either its emo, scene or any subculture! I tend to ignore them without pushing the problem further and I'll support you Kayla and hope you have an awesome day

Have you ever had anyone yell at you because you don't fit a stereotype they expect you to? I get that alot from random people. "You have to feel (insert emotion here) because you're (insert demographic here)!"

Alt subcultures are very relatable to people on the spectrum because of this, people make wild assumptions about you regardless of how you behave.

I'm actually soo worried about getting a job when I'm older cuz I plan on getting some facial piercings and having tattoos and ik that many employers are very stereotypical about stuff like that

Thank you I needed this ❤

You shouldn't judge someone based on how they chose to dress themselves. While I understand how people can associate a certain look with a certain narrative, that doesn't mean everyone like that is the same.

Be more open minded and take the time to get to know someone. Who knows, they might end up being a complete vibe and be one of your close friends in the future.

Amazing video as always Kayla. Hope all is well and give my regards to Princess Nilla, lord of flooftown. Also, if you can give her a giant hug and treat from me, that would be awesome!!! 💙💚💙😊😊😊😍😍😍💙💚💙

Great video Kayla! I really enjoyed the honest sharing. I am 61 and I love the alt look and have been a "closet" goth for many years, mostly because in my generation the social judgement for standing out as "different" in appearance or lifestyle, was even more brutal than it is today. I am finally finding courage, in my advanced age, lol, to express my true self and it is so liberating! I express my style more subtly than I would if I was a young person though. Seeing an old lady in alt clothing, tattoos, and piercings would definitely raise eyebrows!🤣🤣 Btw, your hair is fabulous!!!

where i live it's kind of accepted  but not really. mostly at school that people do judge quickly just by the appearance but there is like a couple of people who do accept it.

I thought it was always the scene dude fuckin'🤟🏿

I completely understand where you are coming from Kayla I have been judged after doing a emo makeover in public it's really gross  that we live in a world where judgment is a thing and it honestly pisses me off I actually know a coworker that is full on grunge and emo and she is a really nice person and does get judged a lot for being emo and it does hurt me I do love and accept her for who she is and she really likes that about me
