I was a sophomore in college in Baguio City back in 2005. It was drizzling when Hale performed at SM Baguio while promoting their music, and that was the first time I heard this song.

I only had my last allowance for the month, but I decided to buy their CD and wait for them to sign it, even though I was already getting soaked in the rain. 😂

They were so humble. Hale was the first band I ever saw perform live, and they will always remind me of my college years. the struggles, heartbreaks, the little joys, real love and everything in between.

This particular song brings back memories of things I had almost forgotten now that I’m a parent. It’s amazing how one song can take you back to a younger emo version of yourself. ❤️

This sound represents the absolute peak of the 2000s OPM rock explosion and it’s just poetic and completely unforgettable. That era just hits different.

Whoaaa!!! HALE!!!!❤❤❤

Hirap na si Champ, hindi na tulad dati. Pero iconic talaga yan song na yan..🫶

Hale is one of my all time favorite band OPM❤

First year college, went to SM Bacoor in Cavite to see Hale. Bought their CD and got them signed by all the members. Those were the good old days in music whether in the Philippines (OPM) or western pop. I'm glad OPM is gaining traction again.

This song came out when I was in elementary school, and everyone would bring their guitars to class. Even in high school, during break time, we’d jam to this track along with other iconic OPM songs from bands that defined our teenage years.

The guy who played la bamba, lou diamond phillips, is actually part filipino

Early 2000s. This was such a mood. Love Hale then, love them still.

This band from Northern Philippines had great competitor band from Southern Philippines at that  era of 1990s to 2k, they had the same genre of music.
👉 The CUESHE BAND was a Filipino Pop-Rock band had been a talent as recording singer of SONY-BMG  MUSIC  ENTERTAINMENT - Asia . CUESHE  and Hale  were competing before.

I was only in my college years when this song came out!! And that era of opm music was such a vibe!!! It's pure nostalgia for me watching and hearing this song once again!!!❤❤❤

Champs sounds different now....

Holy shit champ's(The vocalist) voice really did change over time huh? I suggest listening to the original song so you guys can notice the difference.

Hale was peak back in 2000. you can watch their music videos... Hale here is still good but not the best like back then, maybe because of old age. but still one of my favorite band. together with parokya, orange and lemons, itchyworms, kamikazee, spongecola, silenct sanctuary and other OPM

❤

this song has been an OPM anthem of that ERA, everyone knows it, i remember I was 3rd or 4th year Highschool back then... you should listen to the original MV, his voice has matured over the years just like Steve of Typecast..

You know, most of our classic bands here feels like a foreign band bcuz of how they sound like those American/west bands like. I was like before when I didn't know the band Hale, I really thought they were from the US bcuz of there English songs.

Funny you say chesty, coz i definitely think his voice matured over time.. i wouldn't call his voice chesty in his younger days.

This rendition was so cool with the ending breakdown 🖤

Hale is one of my favorite bands especially this song.OPM is just soooo underrated
