Bro i found my issue and realized nothing was wrong with my old blower motor. Some shorts in the connector. Realized when I twist and turn the wire that clips on the motor it comes on and off. Gonna get it fixed tomorrow. But this video just now saved me alot. Was so frustrated when I put in the new blower motor and nothing. Then that part of the video where u hit the fan. That changed everything after I twist the wire and saw some life and felt so good to find the issue. Respect again brother

Dude great explanation, I have a different car and my blower stop after blasting at full speed for more than 1 hour. It was the relay that overheated and melted. I need to check the blower now, just to ensure is not drawing more current than needed.

This 2013 Ford Escape owner is so jealous of all of you. 😭 Took me 6 hours to replace my original blower motor 18 months ago...and I'm concerned that I have to replace it once again since my fan on high speed does this random fade down/full blast irregular pattern (this after a brand new resistor replacement this evening). I'm puzzled, concerned, and mentally exhausted with what could be going wrong. 😓

So my question is, I have 2008 Ford Mustang and the blower motor plug has no power.... have checked the resistor, the fuses, and the relays... all good. Even bought a new blower motor and that wasn't the issue. What else could keep the motor plug from getting fire... no power voltage or ground.

Ok great video, just looking for some help:
I have a 2010 VW Scirocco (Like a Golf MK5/6 since the scirocco isn’t sold in North America) and I replaced my blower motor about 2 months ago with a second hand motor - worked perfectly- Problem I’m facing now is that as of yesterday it’s completely stopped, I took it out and there was a half a pen lodged in there - removed it and it spins manually in my hand.

However since I removed it, the motor isn’t working at all, no air on any speeds - so I’m guessing it it’s my resistor, My fuse is fine.

I’m buying a multimeter tmw to check- Just wondering for some advice - if it isn’t turning on at all even after smacking it - would it be the motor again??
