I can’t tell you just how much ppl “do my head in” wanting to board at the lights or as you’ve turned into traffic from a bus stop & in some cases start knocking kicking & even trying to force the doors open aaarrrggghhh!!!😤🤬😡 feel better now!

I always reverse into a parking spot. Something I picked up during my time serving in Northern Ireland

I'm flying back to the UK soon into Manchester Airport from New Zealand/ Singapore hope to jump on your bus bro. Been 8 years now since been back. 👍🇳🇿🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

It’s an absolute pain in the rear when people in cars don’t stop at a stop line or encroach into a cycle box.

Great driving mate

As a driver i love those new volvo dashboards, by far the best adjustability out of any bus

When I'm next in Manchester doing YouTube I'm gonna make sure when you are working this route I'm standing at the very first bus stop lol

Keep up the great work with the YouTube channel and the videos

100% right not to let him on mate. I’ve done the job 11 years for Stagecoach Newcastle and I’ve had it plenty of times. If you were to let them on and something happens, he falls or whatever you’re not insured to let people on away from bus stops. You’re risking your job it ain’t worth it.

I always thought Volvo's were the bees knees of the truck and bus world.

Great video matt 😊

17:15 could you imagine if a wheel chair user wanted the bus when you was at the traffic lights you’d get a full Que after lol

Awesome video Matt

Normally in Ipswich when on diversion the first buses get told to not service additional stops but drivers do anyways so people don't have longer walk home etc

Drove one of these heaps when they were still with Stagecoach. They were absolute abominable dog eggs then, so I can't imagine what they're like now

It’s unbelievable… last week I was on London on the approach to Piccadilly I got held up in traffic and a passenger pressed the emergency door button and got off in the road… my flabbers were gasted

I have been on VHA524 as the first Volvo B5LH MMC in y10

17:12 I've seen I driver let someone on there before😂😂

20:57 .. I wonder how you would steal the bus, since you need a fob to log on, then you need to know about pressing the 'kneel bus' button before you start it. Seems like too many hoops for the average person to know how to start a bus unless the bus was just sitting there idling already.

I drive the Volvo and Wright b5tl in Dublin / Wicklow.
The 2013 Volvos are the best. As B9 is 9 litre  more power the 5.1 wright Gemini crap.   Constant check light and engine light. No power.

Fellow driver from London here, mate! Love seeing your cross it’s a great reminder of faith out on the road. Keep wearing it and stay safe!

Honestly where I am, if everyone had the response that guy did I wouldn't even consider it an issue. For me in the Narcissistic States of America, it's mostly entitled twats who explode into a big meltdown where they pound on the doors and I have to make sure I don't run over their feet and sometimes they even block the bus to which they face no repercussions for despite the whole bus wanting to kill them for being held up 15 minutes. Worse yet a lot of other drivers just let them on because 'it's not worth it'. Personally I think it's not worthwhile risking one's job for an entitled bully and further encouraging their shit behaviour, but to each their own I guess!
