My partner and I were mentioning all the way through the video just how terrible most of the roads were, not just potholes but just a mess and full of lumps and bumps.

I'm not sure you're even allowed to do a left turn at that junction at 20:20. Don't know about that one but on some junctions when you're not allowed to turn, the pedestrian lights will be on the green man, so people will be crossing and not expecting vehicles or motorbikes to be going past.

You mean Barlow Moor Road? Towards the end of the video where you’ve finished you said ‘Brownley Road’ where referring to the crossroads with Palatine Road & Barlow Moor Road 😅😅😅

Also, I’ve been in that situation on Wilmslow Road/Oxford Road during uni term time (when it was Stagecoach) where there are times you were majorly late through no fault of your own & there has been a temptation to drop a trip but you struggle to get through to comms so I just run the trips late & the end claim the overtime. Maybe late, but at least no lost mileage.

Am I right in thinking that it’s totally acceptable to be late, (as you can’t do anything about it). But never to be early (as you can do something about it)?

You had over four hours off. Try Stagecoach's split shifts. 4 hours 45 on your first bit. Off for two hours then a 5 hour ten bit. It's brutal. And soul destroying.

Can you choose to do split shifts or is it a compulsory part of the work contract.

As for cyclists or people who ride bikes  badly, 2 different types, the bad ones need to sit in a bus cab and  see what you see or cant, need to  be events planned for cyclists to experience this,  Police locally did it for cyclists with  trucks, and even the  traffic officers  running it where shocked at the  lack of  visibility from the cab.

Love keeping up to date with your bus driving experience day to day and the editing of the videos is superb.

Don't know if you'll remember but a little while ago I left a comment about where to get some clothes for my first day and you recommened ASDA, headed straight over and got it all sorted for a decent price so thanks!

Been training on the buses the last few weeks and got my driving test on Wednesday before I start the route learning on Thursday at Wigan.
