Okay he wants you to be the “strong one” but watch when the woman has a moment of weakness, suddenly he can’t barely be supportive…

Don’t waste your time, energy and love on someone who is not over a past love. They are emotionally stunted and will never truly move forward. They will never truly love you. Learn the signs!

Listening in silence and listening to learn is a valuable life skill. People don't generally want advice. Good video.

This is deep. It’s not about perfection, it’s about how she made him feel.

who cares who he can't get over you, if he's not with you, his memories are his business.

"if you can't love him when he feels weak... HE will never trust you when he's prosperous"

This man he should never pursue any other women. It's unfair to her to be in love with someone whose heart she will never have. 💔 He needs therapy. Do you want rebounds? Go hook-up with women who want to hook-up. Don't go and get married to a 💎 who looks for pure love if you can't give her that. Don't block her luck. Someone else is for her.

If the man is a narcissist, listening to him means nothing. He will exploit you regardless.

Give them what they can never give you. A listening ear. Got it.

There are still at least 3 men that have told me that they will never forget me. I’ve been told that they have never felt like themselves with anyone else the way they have felt with me. Even if it didn’t work out, I’m glad I can be someone who allows my person to feel safe with me. I’m also told by friends the same thing.

Yep, women are naturals at this. In the end, it’s just too exhausting. 😅

Listening is a form of respect and it's a gift for both parties.

7:34 im female and i feel the same. I hate encoiraging words from the person who doesn't understand situation fully. It comes across as "everything will be fine, let's make you feel good so to change the subject as soon as possible"

I think men & women always share a special place in their heart for their first love, especially when it was experienced at a young age

@blueberriesrfine5538 4 months ago

They do get used to your looks. Over the years, I've gone from "beautiful" to "cute" 🤷

Same for women. This world is full of selfish people. There’s only been one man I can’t forget, and it’s all because he made me feel seen and heard. Twenty years has come between us and I still wish him the best.

Many women are angry at Bob Grants advice. I don't' understand that. He is simply pointing out what works with men. If you care enough about your man, you will try and be a better partner. If not, he will always remember those who were!

That bit about Job and the silent sitting friends is a passage that’s never stood out before. Good counselling advice for anyone. I will shut up next time and just sit and listen.
