There are places in China that no outsider has ever been able to visit and in this epic adventure I set off on a journey through the most rural and remote parts of China to gain access to these mysterious sites.

From strange cliff side buildings to dark burial caves locals refuse to enter, this adventure took me to some of the most wild and undocumented parts of China. It was a trip filled with remote hiking, exploring China's rural villages and it's incredible history.

I feel so lucky for the experience to investigated places outsiders never get to see in china, places that seem impossible and yet exist in China! I really hope you enjoy this adventure video!

Every time I watch one of your videos, I find myself yelling at the computer, "Put the camera down and hold on with both hands!" You scare the crap out of me sometimes. Maybe that's just the "dad" in me.

China is incredibly beautiful. I spent two years in Korea. It's beautiful, but oh my God. China is breath taking.

The Irish tie ribbons to a specific kind of tree to ask for blessings. Interesting how far apart these cultures are across the world but so close in beliefs.

Nerves of steel! Even sitting safely behind my monitor, I had to close my eyes a few times. China is an incredibly beautiful country.

Josh, please look into getting a body cam or a hat cam so you can use both hands when climbing these crazy mountains! Your safety comes first!!

Chinese people seem so chill I would love to visit there. After visiting I wouldn't want to leave.

Imagine how many people slipped and fell off that mountain when building that. I'm sure a few.

People complaining about the length of the video, but I’m going to stay optimistic that Josh wouldn’t have traveled to another continent for a single video, so I am hopeful it means we have another one to look forward to 🤞🏻

The temple built on the mountaintop is absolutely stunning. However, judging by the text shown in the video, it's a Taoist temple rather than a Buddhist one.

"Treasure hunters" is a generous description for the vastly more accurate term "grave robbers"

Lived in China four years. Beautiful and real Chinese food is amazing. That hot pot looked delicious.

My wife and I always enjoy your videos, Josh. Ignore the folks who complain about any video being not long enough. It’s your channel and your videos are excellent at any length. Thank you for this one! It’s great!

So many mysteries in China! What a great opportunity!
So many archeological sites that have been protected from exploitation and exploration.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful hidden world. There’s so many people around the planet curious about what Chinese ancient culture can tell us about human history ..
