eddy burback made an AMAZING video how terrible and unregulated ghost kitchens are. ghost kitchens pretty much exist so that the same restaurant can show up multiple times on delivery apps (which takes business away from non-chain restaurants) and because they're virtual a lot of them don't get health inspections or anything... he literally found a building that ran 40 ghost kitchens out of it

I work at Petsmart and I can confirm we do cook quesadillas in the grooming salon, the dogs hair adds some flavor

the photos being wrong kills me

"Would I let it spank me?" is my official new rating system

Of all the weird business ventures the Kardashian / Jenner family has gotten into, I'm really surprised they haven't done a salad restaurant. That one might actually work 😅.

LUCAS YOU'RE BACK THANK GOD

Okay but I actually didn’t even know the concept of a ghost kitchen was a thing until this video. Thank you for opening my eyes Lucas

I drive for doordash and I feel like people don’t realize this. Some ghost kitchens are not other restaurants. They’re just buildings with a kitchen in the back and like 20 iPads in the front where they take orders for each “restaurant”

You’re so real for just leaving the grilled cheese jizz on the table

Former chili’s manager here, the reason It’s Just Wings works as a ghost kitchen is purely because the wings at chili’s come as a 6pc appetizer, without fries. So offering more wings with a combo is something you can’t do at chilis without spending like 30% more money, just because of the way they’re placed in the menu

Somehow I can't wrap my head around the concept of a ghost restaurant... like I'm still comfused

I never feared before that a delivery person would pee in my drinks, but now that thought will live rent-free in my mind, so thank you for that 😂

He was so comfortable taking the fattest bite from the most nontrustworthy places 😭😭😭 thank you for your sacrifices Lucas

Me and my bf were cracking up when we decided we didn’t want Buffalo Wild Wings bc we get it all the time so we go on doordash looking for something new. We order Bird Dawgs on a whim and Buffalo Wild Wings bags we’re waiting for us at the door😂

I once ordered from a “ghost restaurant “ I didn’t know it was. And I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. They gave me a non toasted bread and just a cold cheese on it. So like the ingredients. I was at a hotel. Girl wtf was I going to use? The iron?! 😂

I feel like my third eye is finally open thanks to lucas teaching me about ghost kitchens.

im eating while watching so it feels like a super creepy lunch date

all of the restaurant photos being totally off base CRACKS me up hahah

I'm a DoorDash and Uber Eats driver and I can confirm there's a lot of ghost kitchens we pick up from.  I pick up Mr Beast Burger at Denny's. Danny's Trejo's tacos come out of a Japanese restaurant. Even my local Chick-fil-A comes out of a ghost kitchen. 💜💛

Never heard of a ghost kitchen and they seem really sketchy because it's almost always just the actual restaurant itself  - I think all this started with the Chuck E Cheese thing.  Where during the shutdown of 2020 they sold their pizza online under a different name and made respectful amounts of money.  I'm sure someone else has already commented that lol
