I am by nature crafty, I learned how to use a sewing machine before I hit my 10th birthday. I’m pushing hard at 70 and I spend most days in my sewing room making quilts and other useful things.
My sewing room was the attic in our house built in 1840, when houses had big attics. My Dad added insulation and drywall, turning it into a bedroom, my bedroom.
I moved away but came back to care for Mom, she’s gone now but my sewing room is that same attic bedroom. There were so many memories here that my husband and I will never leave our old house that my Mom and Dad bought when Mom was still in her teens!
We will probably never leave, like Grandpa, Dad, and Mom…until it our time is done here on earth.
God bless you for doing what you do and bringing all these lovely memories to me, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
♥️👍🙏
Whoever is your partner is one lucky person.
Your gift your craft is not only therapeutic for you viewers but the art of thrifting is a craft in itself.
What you do is take that to a level very few know the thrill of the final reveal.
To subconsciously know that your $5 find created new life to furnishings that many would frown walk by make a joke.
You create a standing work of art.
Putting these beautiful crafts work of arts in people homes that would bring warmth for decades to come and families even leaving these crafts for future generations to inherit from love ones to live on.
Thank you Barry !
You are an absolutely beautiful man !
